• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

90% of the time I do a mixture of action RP and active RP.

I will typically say the things I am doing, and if it is possible to express the action in game to add to immersion, then I will do so. For example something something like this:

 

Golemlord: Blah blah blah bananas *nods at the drunken pig*

 

I would in game move my mouse up and down while looking at the drunken pig, to simulate the nod in addition to saying it.

 

I rarely do OOC chat unless something needs to be defined. For example if something says:

 

Misinformedroleplayer: -looks at his pointy ears- hello, elf.

 golemlord: ((actually I'm a human. now that I look at my skin, I guess the ears kind of do look pointy. Sorry for the confusion!))

 

And then we would just continue on. If I was feeling up to it, maybe I would try to play off the racial confusion in RP, but I normally blow it off.

 

I always do strict RP on the forums, but I don't do forum RP as much as I used to.
