I have no idea what is happening. Is regalia the role playing server? My chat seems to be not working because no one seemed to answer my question, i tried to change channel but it just keeps saying "already joined channel x". How do i start my stuff like do i leave spawn to build or something. How do i pick my race and magic powers and such. I have no clue what is happening someone please explain to me everything

So, the quick answer is to go to this page and read it all: https://www.massivecraft.com/minecraft-roleplay-server

For the long answer, I could probably give you a quick run down of how things go. When you enetred the Roleplay Area of the lobby, there was an NPC villager. if you click him, he will give you a tutorial in game that you can do.

If you have any issues, just plop em here and either me or somebody else will try and help you out. And don't worry, everyone is confused AF when they join usually. Give it a few days to get acclimated and such.

Well, for starters, yes Regalia is the main roleplaying server. Technically you can roleplay anywhere, but you will find the most general activity there. At least as far as I know.
You can go to other worlds by entering the command /tp. You will get a little inventory-type window with a bunch of doors and some other items. Mouseover each one to get a brief description of where each item will take you if you click it. I recommend going to the plain old "Lobby". The rest should be self explanatory from there.

I believe you can change channels by typing g: for general, l: for local, h: for help, t: for trade, r: for recruitment, and I think there are some others but I haven't been on in a while. It was this way the last time I checked. Be sure you're speaking in the general or help channels when you ask questions, otherwise nobody in those channels will be able to see what you have to say- local only covers so far of a radius directly around your character.
Also, people typically utilize the local channels for roleplaying. So if you're talking OOC in local around people who are roleplaying, you may want to utilize brackets or something to indicate you're OOC.

You can set a "nickname" for your character as well, which will serve as your character's name in local chat. Enter the command /nick to see your options for that feature.

I hope this helps a bit :')

it just keeps saying already joined help or general whenever i join the channel. No one seems to reply to me

i advice leaving any chats you don't want see (someone tell him the command for that since i forgot wich command it was)
asking questions is better done in the help chat (h:) since general chat can be quite hectic and clutterd. i strongly advice you to use the shortcut commands (h: for help, l: for local g: for general, etc...) for the chats every time you say something so you are 100% sure it ends up in teh correct chat.

IF you are wandering around regalia and want to ask someone something, chances are high you're talking to a roleplayer, often they have chats like general, trade and help disabled when they're rp'ing so their chat is less clutterd. When you talk to them you best do this l: -insert sentence here-)) those 2 brackets are extremly importand. Using those in local chat will ensure you end up in teh Out Of Character (or OOC) chat. if you just talk in local you migh be dismissed as a simple noob by some (not all) people, so doing this will increase teh chances of someone stopping to help you. and they will also be less anoyed by it ;)

and ofcourse, asking on the forums like you just did also never hurts :)

how do i get to the turorial area again
You would start with doing /tp lobby

then, look for the Roleplay portal, go through that.

You should see a booth right in front of you. Click the NPC.

If he doesn't respond, two things may of happened:
1. You've been here too long (doubt it since you joined the forums today)
2. You are already in the tutorial quest. To get back to where you were in it, type /q show
If you haven't done any other quests, that one should load.

worst case scenario is that you just don't do the tutorial quest. though all hope is not lost! The site has in depth guides on how to use the chat and how to RP.
