The Remnants of van der Veer House History To be added on soon post merger :) Family Assets Laaste-huis: The last 'bastion' of House van Slyke, it is the current patriarchal seat of the family. Found within Ithania, it is deemed to be the last great hold of van Slyke after they lost the Angle Veer and their Essalonian colonies, thus it's name. Longsaean Estates: The general title for the many estates and homes found across Regalia, mostly found within the Veereland, Western Drixagh, and Ithania. Taloncourt4: The public property of House van Slyke, it is the main 'estate' of the House as of current moment within the city of Regalia. The Dredger Company: A retinue of 1,000 soldiers under Harric van der Veer, it is the last remnant of the van Slyke military, known for the burning of Vlissinghelm, the siege of Veerle, and for the assault of the Wardens of Purity. Harric van Slyke was the patriarch after Aeoraed, and was the final noble patriarch of the family before they lost their titleage. Of the Anglian branch, Aeoraed follows much of the old customs of his kin, but is still under the influences of his peers and family in the liberalization of the House. Arthur van Slyke: Played by @Stewyblue. Brother to Harric van Slyke and Marcel van Slyke, and son to Julius van Slyke III and Adelheid van Slyke. A student of Mariposa, he is of the Ithanian Branch like many of the more relevant members of the family. Quiet and thoughtful, Arthur is one of the more hidden members of the family behind his very flamboyant brothers. Marcel van Slyke: Reserved NPC. Current Heir of the House behind Harric van Slyke. Twin to Fleur van Slyke, brother to Arthur and Harric van Slyke, and son to Julius van Slyke II and Adelheid van Slyke. Of the 'Ithanian' branch, he is very feminine in personality, and considered a rather black sheep of the family. Virraed van Slyke: Reserved NPC, Played by @Vivo_Et_Vincam. Son of Marvic van Slyke, Virraed is a a young van Slyke musician and artisan of the 'Ithanian' branch, and can occasionally be seen within the city. Very shy and sheepish.
