When he finally died on his olderwald throne, his armor and skeleton was claimed by the forest. The Green Knight’s armor still remains, seated on a throne of vines and roots in the Parron Abbey, and the sword of Arthair which still remains embedded in volcanic rock near the lake church" There are certain types of individuals who exhibit qualities not found normally. A dedication to duty, kin; and family so strong that they outshine the others, like a strike of lightning parting the grey clouds of the storm, and splitting the ground upon which it touches. As impressive as they are in their own right, the thundering cannonade that accompanies the lightning, that forges strong hearts and shakes the very fiber of your soul is the other half, as such, a family is born. Fierce, faithful, yet selective of where they bring their weight down. Here resides the House of Tempetyr ═══════════════════════ ✠ ═══════════════════════ Castell Dymesthwaite, Tempetyr's bastion nestled in the mountains of Amlwch. ═══════════════════════ ✠ ═══════════════════════ Symbols: A blade with a bolt of lightning arcing through it is the main sigil, though it’s almost always accompanied with the Eye of Union. Lightning Bolts, Shields, and Flaming Swords are also used. Colors: Storm Blue, Grey and White Culture: Breizh, with Ithanian Influences. Religion: Their Deities of choice are the God Empress Elia, and the Weard Delvere, Watcher of Darkness. Industry: Rising to power through handing down wealth and accumulated land through the generations, it started as a humble mix of mining, metalwork and farming. Nowadays, House Tempetyr is known for their military equipment, forged in the mountains of their homeland Values: Strength, Honor, Discipline and Loyalty are paramount to the Tempetyrs. They say what they mean and mean what they say. They are generally very empathetic to those less fortunate than them, known to even purchase entire bills of goods for people when given the chance. ═══════════════════════ ✠ ═══════════════════════ The tapestry hung on the wall describes a family ancient yet proud. A bloodline tempered by storm and tested by cold; which calls the frozen mountains and icy oceans home. Hailing from the blisteringly cold island of Amlwch, House Tempetyr finds its roots as any ancient Briezh family. A small family of warriors and wanderers in the beginning, their name changed loosely as they roamed. Village to city, the family's history is only remembered through the scraps of fabric plastered to the ever-growing tapestry. Generations pass, and the family inches ever northward. Not long after the Five-Family Rebellion, the name Tempetyr was put into writing, as the Regalian Empire replaced the once-mighty kingdom. For it was mainly in the years after the Cataclysm that the family's history was documented more thoroughly. A religious sort, they held their faith close to their hearts. As the ice and snow tempered their bodies, their labor tempered their minds and souls. As members of the family reveled in folklore, some found calling in the charge of the Fae Knights. With this profession, alongside the militaristic culture of the Breizh, a need for arms and armament appeared. Small campfires in the mountains grew brighter with heat, as the fuel was changed from wood, to coal. To feed the forges, mines were opened. Where there are mines, workers are needed. Thus, the roots of the House were dug in. A family of knights and soldiers, of faithful workers and loyal characters; laborers and tradesman. As the forges grew in quality, the orders came in from further provinces. To feed the growing forge, the mines grew bigger, the workforce larger, and a Family's livelihood was founded. Today, the family trade continues. Traditions, frozen by time and weather prevail through the endless march of the world. Some are knights, warriors of their faith and belief, upholding their ancient charge. Some are soldiers, guards to higher stations. Some are humble smiths, some are diplomatic statesman. Regardless of occupation, their values and ideals are as ancient as their traditions, one might even liken each to the other. Currently, the family is spread out between the Holy City and their homeland, though that doesn't stop new names, faces, and ambitions from arising within House Tempetyr. ═══════════════════════ ✠ ═══════════════════════ The armor of Marcane, standing its eternal watch. It's unsure if his body remains inside or not. ═══════════════════════ ✠ ═══════════════════════ The Tempetyr line is apparent without even needing introductions. Both the males and females reside on the taller end of the spectrum, with heavy muscular definition accompanying a built frame. Dark hair colors, somewhat lighter skin complete most of their features, though their most prominent recognizance is their storm blue-grey eyes. Height for both female and male never dips below 6' even. The Tempetyr being staunch Breizh, they never waver from their values, or traditions. A woman of Ithanian background and the tastes for the upper class, she's remarkably sharp witted for her age, with a quick tongue to match it. Though, she loves the family, and more notably, her grandchildren. This Character is available. Maitrair Tempetyr - 57 Maitrair is the Father of both Aldair and Azrael. A retired Villiers-Eclaire Knight himself, he's instead attended Seminary School and become a Celate of Unionism. A man who's scarred both physically and mentally from the battlefield, he's stitched himself back together with renewed faith, and the desire to help others. This Character is currently not available. Vanessa Tempetyr - 55 Vanessa is the Wife to Maitrair, and Mother to Aldair and Azrael. She's the only Aunt of Tim Borros, and much like her husband, is deeply religious. Coming from a family of Darkwalds, she's very tentative about anything magical, and as such, refuses to travel to Regalia because of it, much preferring to tend to the family's land with her husband. Felane Tempetyr - 43 The younger brother to Maitrair, the father to Cassiaire and Allestane, Husband to Lucilanne and the family Architect, Felix is the man responsible behind the construction and operation of the family's business of mining and forging metals and equipment. A profound statesman and diplomatic man, he's more likely to talk your weapons off of you before you realize you even had them in the first place. This Character is Available. Lucilanne Tempetyr - 42 The Wife to Felix, and mother to Domitius and Voleseus, Lucilla is an extremely talented ranger. Well versed in the art of Husbandry, Horticulture and Hunting, Lucilla is exceptional when it comes to picking spots to mine at, or build. A woman who's love of her family is overpowered by nothing, she can be a little overbearing at times, but she has nothing but good intent. This Character is Available. Aldair Tempetyr - 37 The first born son of Maitrair and Vanessa, Aldair is the current Patriarch of House Tempetyr. A current Knight of the Fae Order, Aldair is the physical embodiment of the word 'protector'. Stalwart, stoic, yet caring, Aldair is the gentle giant of the family. This Character is played by @AshenRoman. Azrael Tempetyr - 37 The twin brother of Aldair, and a Knightof the Fae Order, Azrael is brash, naive, yet honest within his work. A vigilante at heart, and a protector of the Sepulcher, Azrael resides within Regalia with the Fae Order's Code to guide his judgment. This Character is played by @RainAxe Arntyr Tempetyr - 21 The newest addition to the house, Arntyr was adopted by Azrael after being discovered in a batch of new arrivals to the Fae Sepulcher. Now a squire in the order, his Uncle Aldair is now his mentor. A scholarly mind and a preference for robes shouldn't fool you, his sword arm is as good as some of the best warriors in the Archipelago. This character is played by @TheRook1 Cassiaire Tempetyr - 20 The younger sister of Allestane and the only other child of Felane and Lucilanne, Cassiaire took after the family business and has become a Master Smith. Beautiful, and a charming smile to go with it, she can just as soon talk her way out of an issue as fight her way out. Allestane Tempetyr - 24 The Eldest of Felane and Lucilanne, Allestane is a natural born leader. Due to his background with Military Equipment and his Father's Trade, Allestane has become a master general, understanding just how to choke out a city without breaking a sweat. This Character is played by @Yui_Drax Spoiler: Living Cousins (Borros Line) William Heartmender - 68 Father to Tim and Yama. A Puritan Diviner Unionist, trained in the ways of aberrant hunting- and a prestigious Darkwald Knight in his own right. However, upon meeting Irene later into his career, something changed in the Darkwald. Whether it was finally someone sharing in his beliefs, or simply love at first sight, Irene and William quickly fell in love. Karma eventually arrived when a pack of Cahal tracked down the two and slaughtered William with a similar brutality that he had become famous for. Irene Heartmender - 66 Mother to Tim and Yama, and the only living parent. A Puritan Diviner Unionist and a Darkwald Knight just like her husband, she raised and trained Tim and Yama with the cruelest of methods known to mankind. They would train for multiple days straight, every failure leading to harsh and brutal beatings- if they were lucky. However, upon the assault on their homestead by a pack of Cahal, she seemingly vanished into thin air. Leaving her children behind to fend for themselves. Tim Borros - 25 Firstborn to Irene and William, and the older brother to Yama. Tim, throughout his life, could never stop receiving harsh and cruel treatment. When a man is treated like he's worthless and unloved for years and years, it sticks onto you and convinces you they're right. Regardless, Tim joined the Villiers-Eclaire out of spiritual necessity after feeling that it was his only option for salvation and redemption. Yama Borros - 25 Secondborn to Irene and William, and the younger sister to TIm. Yama, much like her brother, was treated with the same level of harshness- however, she always had someone to look up to in the form of her brother. Unknowingly adding more stress onto him. Tim however, took what little pride he could in sheltering Yama as best he could during the horrors of their childhood. However; tragedy struck when Tim, not knowing better, thought she was going to turn into a vampire after a scuffle and ended her life- only for the dragons to deny her of her death and make her an Archblood. Ophelia Borros - 19 Tim's first child, adopted after the horrors of the Twin Flames incident where Petalcourt and Old Crookback were taken into a sickening inferno of pain and torchlight. Losing her parents in a horrible boat accident, Ophelia was left an orphan- wandering the streets during such catastrophe, until Tim Borros was able to take her away from the carnage and raise her as his own. Ophelia now works as a mercenary in Gallovia, but Tim is still proud of his girl. Edenardenne of Valtyr Edenardenne is a Half-Elf soldier, serving in the Regalian Military for a long portion of her life. She met Tim long after her military career pasted her, and the two hit it off immediately and entered a courtship. Their relationship was tested during the Sanguine occupation of 309, leading to her leaving the city to take care of her father- and taking her two unborn children with her. Soon one child would return to the city; but even if Tim's heart has moved on, Eden is always welcome to return. Gren Borros Born to Tim Borros and Edenardenne. A natural bard and storyteller, new to the trade of stories and tales long past. Tim and Eden love Gren to death, even if they rarely get to see him in his traveling to acquire more knowledge to twist into beautiful and inspirational stories. Juliette Borros Born to Tim Borros and Edenardenne, and shortly after Gren. Juliette opted to stay home with Eden when her brother left to journey to Regalia to meet their father. A momma's girl, ready to defend those she loves with spear and wit with her. Masikae - 21 A young Daen Feka dancer, quickly drawn to Tim Borros. Descending from a family of entertainers, Masikae knew and loved the feeling of eyes on her... But something was different with Tim... It was as if someone could finally see past the act she put on with her dances, and the two quickly clicked together. But... Just as fast as they clicked, Masikae vanished- taking an unborn child with her.
