Introduction​

House Ludevar is a small and quite young family yet very prestigious and filled with a long history. Originally hailing from Parbudicze, it was ennobled in Etosil, but a rebellion against the family forced them to flee to the Colonies. The house made a name for itself in there as fishermen and whalers. Much later most of the family would relocate to the Regalian Capital or Lorverin to find further fortune

Family History

The first appearance of the name Ludevar was roughly two-hundred years ago in Parbudicze, an area bordering Svetlost from the north. The Ludevar family was virtually nothing, only being mere fishermen and whalers, as the area wasn't fertile enough. It wasn't until the sons of Vasili Ludevar entered the service of Vladimir Kade, that the family would even have a written history.

Rostislav and Stefan served the Kade diligently for years and at the end of his life Rostislav was awarded a barony in southern Etosil named Misals. The two would begin the construction of a humongous palace. Taxes were raised and the peasants were forced to work. The two brothers would however not see their palace constructed as it was simply too large, instead the heirs took over. However, they would not rule long as the peasants revolted and cast them out of their lands, executing many family members in the process.

The remnants of the House would use their monetary and material wealth to purchase a large port in Pomeroy, which allowed the House to gain more wealth, by taxing the incoming colony ships, imports and exports. The remaining members of the family blended in with the Colonial people, essentially translating their names to something more acceptable by the non-Vladno, yet within the family they would keep the language, names and customs. They would keep to themselves, until Petyr appeared, a mythical admiral in the Colonies, he was much more keen on having his family 'westernize' he sent all of his children to schools located in the Regalian archipelago, this allowed them to spread out and take worthy positions. Which is exactly what all the learned Ludevars did - Today the descendants of Petyr are everywhere, yet not easy to find.

• Eleanor Ludevar - 74 - Eleanor is the oldest and said to be the wisest woman in the Ludevar family. While not in charge of the family, she still has a firm grasp on her children. She is firm and has a golden tongue. She like Petyr is willing to do what is necessary for the House.
• Petyr Ludevar - 72 - Petyr is the patriarch of the house. Petyr sits as the head of the Ludevar slaving business. Surprisingly he is considered kind and patient, but calculating and willing to do what is necessary for his and his family's well-being.
• Jakob Ludevar - 54 - The eldest son of Petyr. He was the first to take the step to move to Regalia. He is reserved, but not unfriendly. He is suspicious of most, until proven otherwise. A devout Unionist, he serves the Synod and heads its militant forces, in the name of the Spirit
• Beatrix Ludevar née von Abela - 30 - Wife of Jakob. She is of Anglian descent and comes from the House of Von Abela, a small house of wealthy commoners dealing in meat
  • Siegmund Ludevar- 25 - Siegmund is frankly the accidental offspring of Jakob, being brought into the world as an illegitimate child during his father's unhealthy youth.
  • Henrietta Ludevar - 23 - Henrietta is the middle child. She takes after her grandmother, she is commanding and has an easy way with words. Like her grandfather she is caring and has enrolled herself in the School of Medicine
  • Marius Ludevar - 22 - Marius is the youngest child of Jakob. He is a graduate of the Viridian Order. He has enlisted in the Imperial Army and currently serves as an Officer
• Alena Ludevar - 39 - Second born of Eleanor and Petyr. Ambitious and very calculative. A skilled diplomat - Alena currently serves in the Foreign Ministry and is on the rise.
• Alexander Ludevar née Goswick - 40 - Born to a common peasant family somewhere in Essalonia. Alexander is married to Alena, he has picked up the Ludevar name to shed his former commoner name.
  • Otto Ludevar - 19 - Only child of Alena and Alexander and the youngest in the whole family. Otto is a kind, caring one yet is very naive, unlike his parents. Otto is a man of many talents, but is yet to decide on his own fate.
• Carsten Ludevar - 38 - Carsten has taken up after his father. He has inherited the small trade ships in service and is improving some of the ancient ways the Ludevar Trading Company practices. A fantastic merchant and quite charismatic, able to sell fur to a Varran
• Catherine Ludevar - 36 - Wife of Carsten. Catherine is more of a business partner than a wife to Carsten, she offers advice and has a huge hand in the trading business. Unlike her husband, Catherine has a close relationship with her children.
