    Faurés are cultured, taking their places in high society with dignity. They tend to have an appreciation for fine foods, drinks, entertainments, raiments, and company. They make an effort to look and act the part of high nobility

    Outgoing
    Most Faurés are known to make a multitude of friends due to their heritage of constant negotiations with other cultures/regions. Many seem to host a horde of gatherings in order to satisfy their hungry for social engagements

    Partially Militaristic
    Some Faurés are trained in military sciences, learning tactics, training methods, leadership, and sailing from a young age. Faurés who received this training are well-equipped to join the Regalian Navy.

    Deep within Solacia in the early days of the Altalar occupation, a young Daen woman named Marie found herself within the bonds of slavery. She performed for her masters, as well as worked alongside other poor souls in the fields who found themselves in the same boat as her. Struggling for survival and wanting the best for future generations, the woman would band together with other slaves in an attempt to overthrow their Altalar enslavers in hope for a better life. This instead brought upon a horrific slaughter of her people. Before the killing of herself, the Cataclysm erupted throughout Aloria- forcing the Altalar back to their lands. Marie, now finding herself and the remnants of her people alone, had a cultural shift. They became their own people. The Tolonne.

    Marie takes on the last name “Fauré” within the days of this cultural shift. She takes part in the rebuilding of their home, constructing and leading the people of Solacia to a new tomorrow. She is seated on a council within the present day Solacian Governorate. She pushes for the removal of other races in the lands, bar the ones that would work alongside them. The woman makes a name for herself, giving Fauré a high standing in the city for the time being. Around her early thirties, she would give birth to a bastard son named “Marquis”. Raising the child on her own proved to be something she could handle. Marquis ended up being just as successful as his mother, marrying a beautiful wife and having two wonderful children who would branch out into their own families. Fauré became a powerhouse for the arts, perfume trade, and the creation of chocolate for the following generations.

    Two generations ago, the Fauré patriarch, Frédéric, found himself living within the Crown Isle. Because of his talents in song and his work in trade, he rises to prominence. He was granted land within the region of Tuilleré. He returns to Tuilleré to tend to his lands and his people, but also to create a family.
    Now, present day, Theron, the current patriarch of House Fauré moves his family to Regalia to further his family's wealth and status, while the many of his family would demonstrate much of their culture by performing works in poetry, their passion for philosophy, and shared many of their folklore with those of the peerage.

    Guardians of the Sun

    The Fauré Sol Gardien is a retinue of warriors and medics who serve as protection for Noble House Fauré. While the organization in its current format has existed for decades on Tolonne land in the Archipelago, it has since extended its operations to the Crown Isle as the family begins to familiarize itself with the City.

    The name Sol Gardien is in reference to the Sol d'Tolonnesa, an important cultural and symbol that represents invincibility, courage and honour. To other races and cultures, the Sol d'Tolonnesa is the sun, however it is taken as a near religious piece of iconography to the most devout Tolonne.

    Some of those who trial for the Sol Gardien in Tolonne lands are required to attend the Academy of Honour in Nouveaux-Bije to test their skills and abilities. However, due to the tendency of House Fauré to recruit directly from the local populace in the Crown City, they have relied on training and testing the skills of their devotees within the city itself.

    Sol Gardien is currently headed by March Clovis Fauré, who inherited the role of the Administrateur from his father. It operates in a strict hierarchy of ranks and regulation, with those who show the virtues of honour, purpose and duty alongside their keen knack for weaponry knowledge, promoted through the ranks. From lowest to highest, those ranks are:

    • Guard-at-Arms (men is used as shorthand for all able-bodied people, including women);
    • Anspessade (highly experienced Men-at-Arms who can be relied upon frequently);
    • Capitaine (the highest rank that commands the Sol Gardien in the absence of Noble leadership).
    Other ranks that are non-hierarchical are:
    • Devotee-at-Arms (those who serve as spiritual advisors to the Sol Gardien).
    • Medic (self-explanatory).

    All members of the Sol Gardien are required to wear the armour of the Sol d'Tolonenesa when on duty with the House. It has fittings for both men and women.

    Recruitment of the Sol Gardien is completely in-character. Approach a Fauré, or another Sol Gardien online to join. Or alternatively, message me on discord (Wilv#1786) to organise a meet.
