Spoiler: Current Titles Patriarch of the House - Currently Held by Lord Reimar von Falkenreich Duchy of Hinterberg - Your Grace/Duke - Currently Held by Klaus von Falkenreich County of Charlotteberg - Your Ladyship/Countess - Currently Held by Cecille Howlester Nee Typhonus On the eve of 309 AC, an agreement was struck between Reimar Typhonus and Ulric Typhonus. The young man had taken political leadership of the house when it was passed to him from Ulric’s son Elros in the summer of 308 AC. However, given the upbringing of Reimar with close to half of his life spent in the Crown Isle, as well as other changes going on at the time, he held more progressive views compared to that which would typically be ascribed to House Typhonus. To address this Reimar would branch off from House Typhonus and adopt a new name: Falkenreich. This benefited both parties, as House Typhonus can fall into the legacy they had made while the new House born from it can make a new impact on current society. Summary of Family - The family largely fills the mold of a typical New Regalian one, with a main Patriarch who acts as the family head and usually represents the broader “will” of the family as a collective entity. That being said, the head of the House is known to seek the advice of his family members on many matters of politics, with it being known that the siblings of Klaus Falkenreich and Cecille Howlester nee Typhonus having the ear of Reimar on certain subjects and matters. The current Patriarch is known to be generally loose in the activities of the various members of the House, provided updates to said activities are given. Family Overview - Currently there are five members of the family actively playing within the city, though it should be noted that Cecille is married into House Howlester. The family is a branch off of some members of House Typhonus adopting this new name and throwing their lot in with this group. From this three main branches have emerged. Current Branches: Sibling Group 1: Reimar von Falkenreich (25) - Head of the House. Previously the head of House Typhonus, branching off to take a new name was ultimately decided upon as the best course of action for himself, and those who held similar more liberal views compared to the rest of the traditional “House Typhonus”. Reginald von Falkenreich (30) - The eldest sibling of Reimar, though it may not be apparent. Described by his brother as someone “plagued by wanderlust” and “overtly reckless”. Reginald has been known to come and go in the capital as he pleases whether it be to fill his political agenda, or in aspirations of travels and experience. Reginald is a man of many crafts, certified as a Lawyer, as well as a combatant, statesman, Admiral and a skilled piano player and whiskey connoisseur. Reginald has always been well known to be well connected within the common folk population, and fixes himself as being a common mans man, along with being incredibly stern but paired with great understanding and a desire to accrue new ideas. Reginald is defined as spontaneous and incredibly driven, though unafraid to speak his mind and draw his line in the sand Gabrielle von Falkenreich (23) - The youngest sister to two brothers. Gabrielle was permitted training in the Griffer School, as well as attended the Regalian Ecological Academy in Vultaro. Open Character Concept Male or Female (18-30) - Sibling Group 2: Klaus von Falkenreich (28) - Klaus is the eldest male in his sibling line and is the nephew of his former patriarch Ulric Typhonus. He has always deviated from following the traditional militaristic route of his kin, instead opting for specialisation in diplomacy and scouting operations from his time in the Calemberg Jagers. This means the nobleman travels regularly outside of the empire, although his absence is rarely noted due to his isolated free time and consistent appearances in the Regalian court. Klaus also considers himself an avid scholar, with a growing collection of strange items and a curiosity for dark knowledge. Whilst this has made him a black sheep amongst his more traditional kin, he is fiercely loyal to his family and is willing to shoulder the burdens necessary to keep the house together with his intelligence, silver tongue and underhanded methods. Portrayed by @Battlebrawn Cecille Howlester nee Typhonus (23) - Cecille is the younger sister of Klaus, being the youngest in the family in current Regalia. The young woman often strayed away, at least in the public eye, from any form of combat and having an interest in both the sciences and arts. However, she has an obvious history going to the School of Griffer, specifically the Offizielle Akademie für Griffer Bildung within Calemberg. She is seen as highly involved in courtly affairs since joining her kin in Regalia. Often seen as ambitious to get what she wants, she has been quick to meeting other nobility, and rising to the occasion by earning a title from hard work, and aiding her family with what she can while in the city. However, in recent months she married Tommen Howlester but still aids the family when she can. No one should deliberately tarnish the reputation of the House unless specific IC circumstances demand it. » Finally, less of a rule but more of something to be aware of, we do check-ins with those in the family every couple of months to see if a concept needs to be revisited or if they aren’t having fun with the character.
