A family known best for their loyalty to the Royal House Howlester, having stood dutifully and unwavering by the side of their Liege Lords for countless years. House Dunmore stands as the strongarm of Gallovian Law beneath the Howlesters, enforcers within the Highlands and defenders of the Royal Family to date. Priding themselves on a strict patriarchal, devout Unionist and Liege-Loyal stance.
Having lived in Highland Ceardia for the entirety of the lifetime of the Household, House Dunmore has seen but three rulers in Gallovia, including having witnessed the Skagger Occupation of the Gallovian Coast. One of the first prominent patriarchs of House Dunmore, Ser Oswald Mackinnon-Dunmore fought under the Howlester banner to free the coast from Skagger control from the years of 27AC to 51AC when he tragically fell a year before he could witness the liberation of his kinsmen.
This brought about a long line of Dunmore patriarchs who sought peace within their Homelands, having served to wipe out further Skagger pushes within the Highlands before finally having assisted in the ejection of the Skagger Horde in 161AC. The family eventually stopped their militaristic stance within the Highlands and returned to their simple roots of weaponsmithing for many years after the ejection of the Horde.
House Dunmore, in 273AC lost a patriarch who was considered to have committed a crime by arming criminals with new weapons which resulted in the death of a young Noblewoman on the small roads outwith Galloy. This led to the mutilation of the current patriarch at the hands of Galloy City Guards when he wrongly attempted to defend the patriarch.
In 307AC, Alexander Dunmore attained a position on the Royal Court beneath House Howlester due to the patriarch's service to the Royal Family as Lord Commander of the Gallovian Royal Guard. Many of the Mainline of House Dunmore now reside within Duncairn Keep, a holding taken forcefully from the House Duncairn at the hands of the Patriarch.
The Males of House Dunmore predominantly have large, broader bodies with decent height about them. Commonly, they stand between 5'7 and 6'3. Their faces are rough, rarely do they possess blemishes. Often they will wear heavy amounts of facial hair and their eyes are always either brown or a slate grey. They share a common hair colour with the women of House Dunmore, a muddy brown colour that sometimes ranges into auburns and dull gingers.
The Females of House Dunmore are often broader in many regions, namely the waist and chest areas. They're commonly spattered with freckles and retain the same light coloured skin as the males. Their eyes are consistantly brown, though a few of the mainline women in the past have had the slate grey eyes shared with the men of the Household. They stand anywhere between 4'9 and 5'6 and their faces are often rounded with softly pointed chins and rosy cheeks.

The Dunblaine Forge Company: The new forge of House Dunmore, replacing the old blacksmiths in Galloy, it now rests within the town of Dunblaine and is under the ownership of Dougal Dunmore.
