Year Established: 182AC Primary Residences: Termini, Rossetti, Vinicii, Regalian Capital Family Trades: War, Banking, Wine and Fruit Sales The History of the House The House of Termini holds its origins in the rising of the Dressolini Culture itself, formed originally back in 182AC Two years after the initial separation from the Daendroque Ailor Culture, the House of Termini sought to further separate themselves from their barbaric origins and seek a more Honorable and affluent route of living than their Daendroque Ancestors. The House completely rejected any origins beyond this point in their history, their chapter beginning anew right in the epicenter of the market town of Termini with the House Leaders of Caparalli dei Termini, and Natalia dei Termini. These two would sire six sons who would soon expand the House and spur on a greater rise in the Dressolini culture within Termini. During the lifetime of Caparalli dei Termini he was elected Mayor of the city of Termini and soon industrialized it into the booming market city that it is today, a statue even was placed upon the, Cliff of Don Bacchius of Caparalli pointing out over the Cliff towards the sea with the inscription written into his plaque, “Send me There.” in memoriam of a dream he would never be able to accomplish being that of a life of naval adventure. He settled for a more refined life with the woman of his dreams at the head of the town of his choosing. His six sons were named, Caparalli the Second, Marcus, Aquilla, Arquinius, Ezekiel, and Florancio dei Termini. These six sons would find that in order to further their fathers' vision for the city of Termini, they would need to expand out beyond their hometown to increase the fame and namesake that would become the House of Termini. Caparalli II and Marcus, the two Oldest Sons would remain in the city, Caparalli working to secure his father's reign as mayor by opening up a land leasing business and through shrewd persuasive tactics took control of the land of Termini from the local Baron financially. In doing so the Baron lost the landholding of Termini and as such the title was deferred to Mayor Caparalli the First who would become Baron dei Termini from that time period. This secured their House as nobility through the actions of Caparalli the Second who would then take up the position of Mayor underneath his father and learn to govern the land through that measure, Marcus dei Termini however would take a more militaristic approach to it and soon took control over the City Guard, turning them into the first instance of the Eyes of the Mountain, or The Mountaineers, the name for the House dei Termini’s House guard. Marcus dei Termini would unionize thirteen Mercenary groups into the singular House Guard and spur them into becoming a more formally recognized Military body, soon becoming large enough to be considered the dei Termini Levies through savvy recruitment drives and widespread nationalism efforts to serve the Empire in its rising state. Though not nearly as refined of a Military body, Marcus made sure that quality was assured rather than quantity. Thus the Mountaineers were born, funded, and maintained through the efforts of Marcus the First. The brothers Arquinius and Aquilla however, did not have as fortunate and successful career as their brothers, Arquinius falling in love young and impregnating a young woman before they married, he was rejected by his father near immediately for committing such Daendroque actions, he was removed from the family and left to wander the world alone, as far as it is known Arquinius died alone by suicide off the cliff of Juccius Acanto into the rock formation below and swept out to sea. As for Aquilla, he had the misfortune of becoming the center of ire for a rival upcoming House at the time of Gruccio. Aquilla was assassinated by Bastolloa di Gruccio in the summer of 191AC by use of crossbow tipped with poison. This spurred a Baronial War between the House of Termini and Gruccio which ended with the public execution of the entire Gruccio family in the Fort City of Gruccio Two Summers Hence in 193AC. This solidified within the Termini Household that the efforts of Marcus were perhaps a sign from the Spirit of which to go down, thereby choosing to become a Militaristic Household once the War had ended and begin a mass spree of pro-Dressolini Propaganda that has not ceased since their origins nor declined since their present-day time period. The Last two children, marveling at the success of their Elders and seeing the shortcomings and failures of their brothers, they choose a more refined path to go down. Ezekiel would go on to become a Painter who would stand on high rises and paint the ceilings of Cathedrals as well as becoming the Cities Festival Host, being one of the ones to solidify the habit of celebrating the Emperors’ birthday. Reportedly he was homosexual however he tended to host a quiet and reserved life with very few visitors save for Festival-goers and party planners. As for Florancio, he moved on to become one of the originating members of the Scuolo of Termini. The Living Brothers would soon find love in their own manners, Florancio taking a modest ascetic life in the Local Cathedral within Termini and taking on a wife who would grant him three children and the others having similar successes. Generations passed of the Military and Governing leaders of the House dei Termini, from the loving hand of Gennisae dei Termini who founded and maintained the Termini Communal Vineyard and opened the first Private Orphanage in Termini, to the more harsh and violent nature of Daltan dei Termini who led The Mountaineers of Termini to have a very strict and brutal policy in regards to Aberrants Sanguine and Void Worship, his stance extending then to have him hosting Public Executions and Gladiatorial Games for six Months comprised of Vampires, Witchbloods, and Void Worshippers who would be pitted against each other and wild animals for the entertainment of the masses before he was summarily assassinated by members of a Void Worshipping Cult known as the Fists of Behaesal. This Cult is said to still be present within the Vultaran region in an underground war against Dogtaran Remnants of Vultaro but who could say for sure? These Generations of Leaders and members of the House dei Termini created the identity that the House dei Termini showcases presently to this day. The Most recent leaderships of the House dei Termini revolved around Giovanni dei Termini and Deo dei Termini. Giovanni had become the Patriarch prior to the present day Patriarch who is his close cousin and sought to lead the Family to financial power, though through a rather foolish act, Vassalized under the House du Pont which effectively stonewalled the Houses upward mobility, even after the disappearance of Edmund Du Pont and the Regency of Charles du Pont. It was after this that Giovanni decided that he’d rather not rule the House and lands and transferred power to Deo, though in a binding of contractual loopholes and intimidation tactics from the House du Pont, remained under their Thumb until the House du Ponts fall and resurrection as the House du Brilonde. Under Deos’ leadership, he has worked tirelessly with his younger Brother Corjah dei Termini to effectively rewrite the previous identity of the House and move it from one of victimized Blue bloods to one of Cultural strengths and Identity. Under Deos leadership he lead the Family into such renown that the Emperor sought to grant Deo and the dei Terminis’ the opportunity to rise back to Nobility from their previous Fall in regards to du Pont. Granting Deo a Syndic Title in lieu with the House dei Olzolli, Di Orazio, and Idomeneus. Deo then quickly worked to establish within this own Syndic House a sense of stature supremacy. Despite being a Non-Titled Nobility in comparison to the Three Barons, he became the Leader of the Upper Council of the House dei Vinicii (The Syndic House of all the Dressolini and Idomeneus Noble Houses), as well as the sole commander over the House dei Viniciis’ Retinue. Though of course this reign did not last long however due to the complacency of the Other Branches and the rather large gap of Noble communication amongst the other Houses that the Syndic House was forcibly dissolved by the Emperor, though Deo was compensated with such by being granted Aristocracy in favor of retaining Nobility for the House of dei Termini due to his diligence and actual effort that he put forth into the House and its ventures. Presently Deo is a General within the Marshalry Cabinet of the Regalian Army who works closely with his Younger Brother Corjah dei Termini who is the Maestro of the Chapter of Syfierni, a Chapter of the Pavisa Order stationed within the Capital of the Regalian Empire. The Treasury of Termini; The Treasury of Termini is the only Bank within the City that is used by the Citizens, highly defended by The Mountaineers the Treasury is near impossible to steal from due to high-security measures and location. The Treasury is located right beside the Termini Constables Office and on the opposite of the Mountaineers Recruitment Hall. This Treasury is said to hold manuscripts of the House dei Terminis’ private expenses and holds the first regal spent within Termini in a glass case on display in its center, for aesthetics. The Rolling Hills Grape Vineyard Company; The R.H.G.V.C Or simply known as, the Rolling Hills Vinery. Is the Privately owned Vineyard upon the Southern Road entrance to Termini, a 40 acre Vineyard maintained by Dressolini Supervisors, Daendroque immigrants, and the Mountaineers, this Vineyard is the largest producer of Grapes to the local region. The main House that is used to store and conduct business deals where the Grapes are sold en masse to local businesses which help provide the House with a stable source of revenue save for their other Ventures. The Mountaineers; Are essentially the Private Police force of the City of Termini and the House dei Termini itself. At one time being viewed as the Regions Militia the Mountaineers following along with the House dei Termini have become a touch bit smaller in power though the skill of such being on par with the Tenpenny Soldiers due to Deos education of their Drill Instructors as a preemptive measure before heading back to the Capital for Noble and Militaristic Duties. The Mountaineers are essentially an extension to the local Constable who was hired to process and oversee the Prison and Facilities of the Jailhouse. They are roughly One Hundred strong in a city well over that amount, whose purpose is to defend and oversee the efficiency and productivity of the House dei Terminis’ interests and business ventures. The current Captain of the Mountaineers is one Carlo dei Rossetti who is a Local Pavisa Knight stationed within Termini to oversee the Mountaineers, being granted this leniency by the Grand Maestro due to his good service and close ties with the House dei Termini during their length and tenure. The Mountaineers oversee the work of the Daendroque Immigrants in the Rolling Hills Vinery as well as maintain the defense of the Treasury dei Termini as a service to both the House and the citizens of the City as a whole. Within the Warfront The Mountaineers double as a Dressolini Heavy Infantry. Being fielded with thick Plating and the Falchion Blade with a forearm shield, the Mountaineers are very fierce Body of House Guards. They themselves being considered the direct Hedge Knights of Termini with numbers being bolstered by squires and Sergeants at Arms who fill out the overall total in service to the House presently at around 400. The Chapter of Syfierni, (Pavisa Order); The Chapter of Syfierni is a particularly unique venture of the House dei Termini. During the Iron Dukes originating Blitzkrieg into the greater Montanian Region, his forces swept through Termini and ransacked the Pavisa Bailey stationed there and captured the Commanding Knights of the Bailey. Corjah dei Termini was presently the Seneschal, the second in command of the Bailey at the time under Maestro Gustavo dei Dal Tarpisu. They were captured and held prisoner during the occupation and were finally set free after the local Reverend appealed for their freedom. Once freedom was assured the Commanding Knights of the Termini Bailey were whisked under the direct Command of the Grand Maestro of the Pavisa Order who promoted Corjah to Maestro and gave him the task of setting up a Chapter of the Pavisa Order within the Capital of the Empire. Corjah agreed and set off at this time to head to Regalia and has begun his Command in charge of the only Pavisa Chapter outside of the Prince Electorate of the Wildlands. He has currently amassed a modest number of Pavisa Knights but seeks to increase his numbers in due time as their involvement in the City and in interests abroad has begun to be rather strenuous on their present numbers in the Capital City. That and partially due to their primary weapons Illegal nature within the Capital their work is cut out for them to build something wonderful for their people and their Order within the Empires heart. Vassal House(s): House dei Rossetti, @Blackfish__ : The House dei Rossetti is the Vassal House of the House dei Termini through a very strong bond held between the Patriarchs of Deo and Carlo. Being childhood friends and soon having the House dei Rossetti made into the official Knights of the Region of Termini their bond is unbreakable. Carlo himself had been named the Commander of The Mountaineers and currently handles their utilization in both the war and private sectors of Termini while Deo is away. Once upon a time however Augustine was the fastest Athlete in Termini, earning over Two Hundred Thousand Regals in winnings! Which he summarily spent on lavish festivals, massive courtesan gatherings, and fancy clothes that no longer fit him in his hunched and shriveled state. He is the uncle to Azaezel. "I could still beat you in a footrace walking." 79- Azaezel dei Termini(Available): This aged Reverend is a die-hard Unionist Reverend who owns and leads the Cathedral painted by his ancestor of Ezekiel dei Termini. Azaezel has as such devoted his days to teaching the young about the Spirit and hosting daily sermons. His personality is a rather kind-hearted sort, though has very conservative views regarding marriage, sexuality, and physical stature. "The Meek are without resolve. The Spirit granted them a thin frame so they may mold themselves into a marvel of physical prowess. Do well with your gifts and return them when you are done." 60- Cassandra dei Termini(Available): Wife to Azaezel, Cassandra is an overall menace of a woman. Terrifying in demeanor she expels a natural disdain for anything not Dressolini. Of course, she is not a fool to let it be known verbally and has done well to play the Court in the sprees of Nobility the family has had. However, her pride in her culture is near irradiating. Her family above all is the only thing she can even come close to being soft-hearted to, save for her eldest son who she has groomed to be an upstanding member of society and an absolute Momma's boy. "Tut, fetch the Daen footstool, I grow tired of standing so tall amongst the common flock." 58-Galahadrius dei Termini (Available): Elder Pavisa Knight, now since retired from his years of battle, Galahadrius lost his left arm in the Battle of the Curag Fields and was summarily requested to retire from his duties. However, instead he showcases himself to his Maestro his uncanny resolve to continue by taking on the role of Drill Master in charge of educating Squires at the Accademia dei Pavisa in Toloraedo, Montania. "I have borne our sacred burden." 58- Marcus the Reborn (Unavailable): Marcus the Reborn is the father to the original mainline of the dei Termini family until the nature of the House was reorganized which saw to it that the Main Line portion of the family passed to his brother Mario II. Following along the path of the original Marcus dei Termini, Marcus the Reborn saw fit to strengthen the Military standing of the Family, urging his family members to send their children to Military Academies and Knightly Orders in order to strengthen the overall presence of the Family within the World. He, however, did not do this for his own sons for he believed that with everyone's children becoming Warriors and Generals of various standings, his own children would be left to lead the Family as proper Statesmen. Though in the reorganization he found himself greatly misled. The Middle Aged, 54-28 54- Daedelius dei Termini @Ynzy (Active): Younger Brother to Galahadrius, he took on a more refined path of living. Choosing instead of a life of combat, a life of learning and studying. Opening and maintaining the Termini Library, Daedelius has studied for countless years on various topics, including such topics as, Abberancy, Arkenism, Dulofall, and Medicinal Capabilities. He also works a side venture of being a prominent Stand in physician in Termini when the Mainline doctors are away. "Life can be transcribed in a thousand pages with a million lines and still be titled with a single word." 50-Deo dei Termini (Patriarch) @Mortisian (Active):Deo is the elder brother of Corjah and younger cousin of Daedelius. A graduate of the School of Marshalry and a seasoned General in numerous battles such as throughout the Songaskians War, Second Elven War, Deathling Crisis, and the present-day Dreadist War, and Private Noble Wars such as the Viduggla v. All of Drixagh in which he led their Army and in the defense of the Dressolini Lands of the dei Olzolli from Rote (Now Typhonus), Deo has seen extensive years of combat. Only matched by his frugality and eccentric nature his positive demeanor has attracted numerous companions through which he has lain within an effort to solidify and build a relationship with. All ending in rather abrupt shortcomings due to the nature of Politics. He was transferred the Patriarchy from Giovanni dei Termini who had gotten said title from his own father of Marcus the Reborn. Lo Occupation: Commander of The Mountaineers who defended Termini from the Bone Horror Invaders that attacked Montania. Second Songaskian War: Served as Lieutenant Colonel under the command of General Garth Viduggla during this War, while having a large force they were battered relentlessly by Slave Armies and various forces from the Farahdeen Cities. First Songaskian War: Served as a Field Offizer under the command of General Harhold, notably was injured by being the first up a Cliffside before being knocked off said cliffside by an Elven soldier, falling three stories onto a boat with multiple broken bones and wounds. Until summarily this said boat was blown up by Artillery fire from the Elven side, sending Deo into the Ocean a broken mess, only being rescued by a Neflin soldier who would later be referred to as Mass Chere. Private Noble House Wars Deo has taken part in. Served as the Private General of House du Pont, successfully conquering and sacking Lorhauser, the Peirgarten Capital and taking with him a great deal of their Loiree Wine, being paid around two thousand or so from the overall Occupation. Being promised as such by the Patriarch Edmund du Pont whom Deo respected verily. Served as the Private General for the House dei Olzolli during their tenure, Notably he caused House Rote to essentially lose all the faith and support from their Manoral Houses by publishing of a Letter sent by their patriarch to the Patriarch of the House dei Olzolli, serving as a Bloodless War and a Victory in his eyes, despite the War being cut short by the Iron Peace. Served as the Private General for the House Viduggla as they expanded their territory throughout Drixagh, ending in the conquering of the House Skarpsten and House Sterke-enn which paved the way to the present day position and stature of the House Viduggla. Being gifted a Spyglass from the House Viduggla for his service to their House. Served as the Consul and Caesar of the Syndic House dei Vinicii during its tenure, having built the position up within their own form of organization within the Syndic House, Idomeneus, di Orazio, dei Olzolli, and dei Termini (dei Termini being the only Commoner Status House within the Syndic prior to its formation) Until it dissolved due to the lack of effort put in by the other Houses, save for dei Olzolli, this granted Deo and the dei Terminis the status of Aristocracy. 45-Corjah dei Termini (Pavisa Maestro) @Mortisian (Active): Corjah is a recently elevated Maestro of the Pavisa Order, being given special tasking by the Grand Maestro to head to the Capital to set up a Chapter of the Pavisa Order there, he set out to do so and has since begun building a name for the Pavisa Knights. All other Information regarding Corjah has been stricken from public record. 30- Barthalemeu dei Termini (Available): Barthalemeu is a Dressolini who was kidnapped by the Fists of Behaesal and experimented on and tortured extensively, he was only able to escape from his confinement due to the aid of another of the prisoners, an Url who gave him an Oorl Wurm, turning himself into an Url himself, he then proceeded to, in turn, gathering together the other prisoners and rebel against their captors, ending in the victory of the prisoners with Barthalemeu the Bullheaded as their Leader. He now leads his band as a Mercenary Force within Montania, who actively are seeking out and committing themselves to finding and destroying all the Fists of Behaesal. 26- Giovanni dei Termini @Wumpatron (Inactive): The eldest son of Mario the Reborn, Giovanni was given the Patriarchy during a tumultuous time in his life, one in which he wished to study and travel and learn more about the world rather than sit and govern. As such Giovanni abdicated the Seat to his elder Cousin Deo dei Termini so that he may proceed on with his own life in a manner in which he was both comfortable with, and satisfied to say was his own. 26- Ravenna dei Termini @Angelus_Sai (Inactive): Second Youngest child of Maria dei Termini, the only daughter of the current Mainline of the dei Termini Family. Hosts herself as a rather free-spirited maiden, choose to sail the coastlines of Termini and the Vultarin Hegemony in her free time with her main stage occupation as the leading advisor to Diplomatic duties regarding the House dei Termini and its various proprieties. 25- Arquinius dei Termini @DirtyNightClownz (Active): The Youngest son of Maria dei Termini, the mother of Deo and Corjah. Arquinius is the Youngest Knight of the dei Termini family and as such has a great deal of social responsibility placed on him. Though not similar in the same manners of Deo needing to uphold the face of the family, Arquinius has the task of undertaking the social aspect of the House and keeping positive relationships with those outside of the Dressolini Culture far more than most of the other Family members. He is also a Pavisa Knight within the Chapter of Syfierni and falls under the direct command of Maestro Corjah dei Termini. Any other dei Terminis’ that can, or will be made will be added to this portion of the History as they are produced within their various locations.
