Family History
The dei Basie family can trace their history back to 219 A.C. with Giuseppe dei Basie being the first major member, as the personal musician to a Lord in Basta, at his manor the Lord dubbed "Basie." Giuseppe was gifted a small cottage where he settled down and married Valentina the first, settling on the surname dei Basie, to show where they came from. This cottage in Basta would be the epicenter of the dei Basie family, where Giuseppe was given a son in 244 A.C., he would soon teach his son Emilio the family trade.
Soon after Emilio left the family home in Basta, setting his sights on living in Daenshore in hopes to make a living being a musician. After a string of small performances and gigs keeping the family afloat, Emilio had met Faustina, a new artist in the city. Soon the two were wed in 270 A.C.. Emilio had been granted a boon when a music festival came to Daenshore city, and Emilio was chosen as a guest artist to play the festival and the subsequent ball at the closing of the festival.
After making many regals from his most famous string of performances, Emilio and Faustina decided to start their own family. Their first child being born in 274 A.C.. Emilio would teach Dante the now formed family trade of the fine arts, and soon after the next set of children were born.
After the first six children were born, the dei Basie's had raised enough coin to make a new life in the Holy City. Packing all of their possessions, the family immigrated to their new home of Regalia. A few years later, the seventh and final dei Basie child was born in the city itself, the only not to be born in Daenshore. The new children now focus on making names of their own, seeking fame, coin, glory, and families of their own in the city.
