History
The great Amalao family we know today all started around 200AC, when Allex Amalao was born from Lessithel and Veristhel Amalao on the South coast of Fendarfelle. Allex grew up always surrounded by beaches and wildlife, but soon caught an interest in Dwarves and stone magic. At the age of fifteen, he began to study it, and isolate himself so he could concentrate. He'd often practice moving rocks on the beach; carving into them, making shapes, etc.
His times of isolation came to an end when he met a woman while practicing magic. Her name was Lucille, and she'd been watching him play with the rocks and move them without touching them. They soon became friends - inseparable, for a fact, and fell in love. Though, since they were together for a /very/ long time, they never had enough money to afford a wedding.
In the summer of 241, they finally had saved enough money for a marriage and their own house.
Culture
Amalao culture is heavily mixed in with the normal, Altalar culture, most being incredibly hedonistic and self serving, to the detriment of the others in the family, this contributes to the rather nasty family bonds, some grouping together against the other members of the family and so on, most family relations are incredibly hateful, to begrudgingly allying other members. Most generally speak modern elvish and common, and worship Estel, as the usual, with a few void worshipping oddbods here and there.
