CONCEPT
  • The lackadaisical Hiromu is a first-year graduated Aelrrigan Knight with much to prove, possessing virtually no ambition or personal goals other than to perform his duties. Only recently having settled into the Crown Isle, Hiromu searches for motivation and fulfillment after being pressured by his mentor to make something more of himself.

  • Additional Features | Noticeably (and literally) cold when approached. His body temperature is absurdly low.

  • A man of Hiromu's stature can be easily picked out in a crowd, standing at an impressively towering height of almost seven feet. Despite his stature, his physique is hardly imposing, with his lack of heavy physical training resulting in a rather lanky form. An apparent absence of care can be noted about the rest of his features, his messy, sand-blond hair, his dark under-eyes, and his lazy demeanor all hinting at a lack of sleep.
  • When it comes to clothing, Hiromu prioritizes comfort above all, wearing cozy, warm apparel in which he can easily fall asleep in. He alternates between the traditional wear of his Sihai heritage and the practical and modest attire of the Breizh. His ears are adorned with a set of matching silver earrings.

PLOT HOOKS
  • Hiromu was born and raised in Northern Kintyr, the second born of a Breizh Ailor father and late Heiyan Sihai mother. Due to his father's heritage and magical prowess, he was enlisted into the Aelrrigan Order at the minimum age, already on his way to becoming a prodigal mage.
  • Like his father, Hiromu is a member of the Penn Archwilio chapter. While he has yet to be sent on any major expedition, Hiromu believes he's more than capable of tackling the tougher missions solo.
  • As his epithet suggests, Hiromu's magic is solely based on the cold of winter, primarily ice. His body, his blood, both naturally run cold, and he feels more at home within cooler environments. He tends to be a bit of a showboat when it comes to his powers, however, using any opportunity to show off his talents.
  • Initially having no mentor due to many of the other knights refusing to deal with his lazy work ethic and inattentive demeanor, one eventually stepped up to take him under his wing. His teaching methods were eccentric and forced Hiromu to think outside the usual.
  • Hiromu is quite proud of both sides of his heritage, despite having little connection to his Sihai lineage. He incorporates both aspects of his parents' upbringing into his own lifestyle, between the pridefulness of the Heiyans to the hardiness of the Breizh.
  • Hiromu is generally jovial with anyone, but comes off a bit brash and even insensitive at times, his exaggerated self-confidence and his need to be seen as stronger than he is often getting in the way of his more sympathetic light.

TRIVIA
  • Hiromu's birthday is January 9th, 290 AC.
  • The name Hiromu means "Big Dream," an ironic name considering his own lack of aspiration.
  • Hiromu has mild narcolepsy. He naps frequently throughout the day, and is prone to falling asleep in public spaces or important events.
  • Among his favorite hobbies are ice fishing, playing board games, and shopping.
  • Hiromu is a big fan of sweets, his favorite foods being Breizh pancakes and Bai Tang Gao. He generally avoids bitter and saltier foods.
  • Hiromu cannot swim.
  • If your character hates smokers, avoid Hiromu.
