Brawny and deeply sun-kissed, Henriette stands at a height of 5’10” and has an entirely modest appearance with masculinely cut, toffee-colored hair atop her head. Life Story Henriette von Raiter was born into a comfortably wealthy family in Calemberg as the youngest daughter - she had no brothers, only a handful of sisters. Educated vigorously by her father and hired tutors in mathematics and writing, she began accompanying him in his work of collecting taxes for the Dogmatic Unionists presiding over Calemberg. As her sense of identity developed into something that fit outside of the mold of Wirtem expectations and her awareness of the class divide grew, her faith wavered and mental state deteriorated. The family trade of tax collection was suddenly and promptly abandoned after a brief episode in which she experienced a vision, which she interpreted as a message from Juvin. Giving away all her worldly possessions, with nothing but the clothes on her back she ventured into the isolated countryside to instead offer up her help to a small Dogartan cloister, just out of reach of most Dogmatics’ awareness. Thrust into total self-sufficiency and altruism, she was accepted in full by the refreshingly unrepressed Dogartans. They offered an almost foreign regiment of education and uplifting, focused on strength of body and mind, without reliance on any higher state or government- medically, practically, and combatively. Her hair was cropped to a modest level, her stature broadened into brawn, and she became eloquent in High-Anglian, the language of a selection of her fellow Dogartans. Although giving alms to the nearby villages was fulfilling work, an urge to strike out a life of her own arose, before she managed to arrange a place on a ship to Regalia with hopes of broadening her horizons beyond what Calemberg had to offer, eager to forge a satisfactory self-image.
