LIFE ▣ STORY "Cassius" was born Heliodorus Artemedes Mikaladis. To an a Etosian woman from the Hellation states and a Dressolini man from Vultaro. His life was simple in the far south, living in the lands of Theos. A humble start for anyone, really. He worked with his father, hunting for food and helping his mother at home as most children his age did. The boy learned to throw and use a spear at an early age out of necessity. Trained in the arts to become a skilled hoplite, using these skills to help his father hunt while training with a trusty gladius on the side for fun. As a young boy he was very talented, constantly training, always moving about and busy. Never knowing what the word “rest” meant. Just before his 8th birthday, Heliodorus was taken by Vultaro slavers just off the coast of the Hellation isles when his fathers ship was raided. The boy was promptly the pits and ripped from the loving arms of his family. Live never to be the same again. He was forced to get right to work. Refining his skills at an early age. Forced to forget his past time and time again. Losing his native culture in all ways but he style he fought in and taking up the culture around himself. He was made to listen to his handlers, losing his own personal identity and beliefs. Heliodorus' adolescence was no better. The young man was exposed to awful violence, acts of savagery and just overall cut-throat activities. His training increased as he aged, the activity and frequency with which he fought upped to a massive extent. He made his first mistake when getting attached to those he trained with. Though would learn the hard way when he was forced to kill those he was close within the arena. For the pleasure of others. Upon cutting down his friends he learned never to get close to another living being. Learning to keep his distance forever aside from taking on a few lovers his master would spare him. This would never change for the rest of his days. He was toughened up, thus beginning a new chapter of his life. Match after match, the famed "Cassius Seneca" inked his name in the history books with blood. Making his name known through-out Vultaro and the Hellation Isles as a feared gladiator to be reckoned with. Bringing glory to the House Batiatus. When stepping foot into the arena his opponents were not faced with a wild savagely man, but rather one who took a more graceful approach when fighting, making a show of his every movement. His only purpose remained the same as all of gladiators, though. That is to please the crowd and kill those stand against him in the pit or the arena. The entirety of his personality faded, all that was left was an unsatisfied lust for blood and battle. Blood and battle for the people’s entertainment and for the house he served. No greater joy left in his life than a battle being won in the arena. No greater joy than bringing glory to the house and people that he serves, bringing joy to the people as he cuts down opponents. In the hopes that perhaps one day it might grant him the freedom, he so long desired. The freedom that was taken from him. His wish would be granted by his Dominus whom he had taken in as his lover when he turned 50 years of age. With this freedom he set off to find his family. Returning to the city which he fought in just two years prior. That was.. until a Slizzar by the name of Ssolizrakas killed him and took his identity. Adding it to their plethora of different personas. (Find out about the Slizzars story IC.) Spoiler: TLDR Life Story for Ssolizrakas. Born in the city of Sassrakkand, Ssolizrakas learned the basics of what their race required of them for a lengthy period of time through trials and tribulation. Being an avid liar and swindler, they quickly mastered the arts of conning and selling forged documents by their later years which gave them the motivation to start using their personas for different reasons all which would lead back to the same thing; wealth, power, or amusement. As the years progressed they got bolder and began to steal identities outright, living other peoples lives for them and toying with those they knew. Blending into society and finding ways to manipulate. This is what led them to the capital of the Regalian Empire. The Holy City, a place of adventure just waiting to be discovered with perfectly good identities to steal or personas to play. Their goal now is to infiltrate nobility or use their wealth for their own benefit. With this in mind, they have also recently taken on the Sanguine curse to help further their ability to swindle and con people out of their coin or power.
