For maybe a couple weeks back in 2016, I briefly revisited massivecraft, but other than that short thing I honestly haven't done much on this server in years. I am super invested in getting back into the swing of things though, especially the roleplaying aspect. Writing and developing characters has become a larger part of my life with the line of work I'm pursing, and I honestly miss making friends through rp. It was fun when I was younger, and I certainly can't see why it'd be different now.
I guess the point of this post was asking;
Where I should start?
I'd like to use a character that looks like this;
... And with the more player models mod (if that's even still a thing on the server,) I could totally do it, I just don't know where to go with race. When I last played, I believe the insect race was called vespid (or cicii?? cicccii??) and they looked... much more buggy. From what I understand the Maraya replaced vespids but they look very human. I'm not sure if I could substitute my character into that race, or if I could even use him in a roleplay setting.
I don't know if character creation forums are still around, or how to introduce any character to Regalia again without reusing an old one. Factions look interesting but I'm not sure where I should go besides waiting for an ad in general chat to find a mainly RP based one.
TLDR; It's been 5 years, I'm scared, confused, and what to roleplay a man with a spider for an ass.

They're described more like a cross between teiflings and fae
