As was probably already obvious, the Frostmanes have disappeared from the race line-up and have been replaced with the Bear-like race, the Urs. The reason for this was that the Frostmanes lacked identiy, they did not have a clearly defined beast like appearance, and the name itself was also too bland and inconclusive.

More information for the Urs will come around when the lore page on http://www.massivecraft.com/lore unlocks (it is currently still gray) but here is a picture in advance that shows the largest kind of the Urs, the Grizzlar Urs.

You know, I rather liked the Frostmanes better. They were just awesome. Urs seem to be...fat. They don't even have the nice chinese fat ninja look that the Pandarens have from Warcraft. They were also awesome. But Urs...teddy bear trying to be fierce, looks to me.

Im pretty sure not every single being in a race looks the same, there are fat humans, but is every human fat? no. Its just a drawing of one Ur lol, and he's not fat he's big boned :p

Just because something is fat doesn't mean it doesn't have immense muscles. These Urs need to have a natural fat layer to survive in the cold temperatures of Jorrhildr, but if you were to trim this Ur of it's fat, it'd be a bigger block of muscle than the Avarr.

Granted, and I can see that even with the fat. The problem isn't physical capability, it's external design. I just doesn't look intimidating, interesting, anything. As others have said, Smoky the bear without the hat trying to look mean. He is even saluting! :D (look up Smoky the bear if you are unfamiliar with the reference.) The Pandaren are able to pull off the whole bear look, I loved the WoW Mists of Pandaria trailer. The Frostmane have been rather awesome too, just look at Shadow. But the Ur...I think it could use some design tweaks at best.

Why not have both Urs and Frostmane? They could be rival creatures that have been at war for generation beyond counting, the Urs using raw power to fight while the Frostmane use speed.

Urs: Power Punch - +Unarmed, Urs: Lone Fighter- +Damage when alone.
Frostmane: Speed Dash- +Dodge, Frostmane: Pack Hunters- +Damage when in packs.

^ The Frostmane would be more overpowered in that sense, then. A single Ur, against a pack of fast Frostmanes? It would already be unfair if it were just Humans in a group, let alone fast and strong pack hunting Frostmane.

WANT THOSE RACIALS FOR FROSTMANES.

Not only would the Frostmanes be more overpowered than the Urs, they'd be more overpowered than the Vespids.

Blues Corner I don't think there are bones in the bears stomach =P That bear is just fat.

MonMarty Also I love the picture but bears are incredibly strong and brutish they should look more like a professional wrestler then a tubby life size teddy bear. You did a good job on the arms and legs but the stomach isn't very realistic.. Sure bears are typically known as fat but thats only because they have long shaggy fur, even when they stand on their hind legs they don't look that chubby, infact they have more orcish anatomy then chubby stocky human anatomy.

(Brown Bear running) (Brown bears fighting) (Black Bear showing off its stomach)

If you look at the images above you'll see that bears are quiet muscular not chubby, the only chubby bears are the one who are stalking up right before winter OR the ones in parks who have been over fed and junk food. Sure they have an extra fat lair but I don't think it would look that unhealthy and bulged out.
Of course this is your race, so its supposed to look how you and the other rp/lore stuff want but I figured you'd want it to look realistic. Yet again this is only my opinion which is based off of what I know of bears. And like Blue said this is just one Urs.

"Ugh, the bear is fat! I don't want the bears to be seen as fat because I want all to be super thin or muscled so they can be perfect and beautiful. Change it now because I'm giving you a ton of bear facts and such that obviously discredit your IMAGINARY BEAR PEOPLE RACE THAT DO NOT EXIST IN REAL LIFE." - A lot of what I've been reading on this thread.

The damage would cap you know... and the way I imagined it, the damage the Urs do alone would be equal to the cap that the Frostmane have on their Pack Hunters plus. Thus, 1 Ur is equal to a pack of Frostmane.

Nothing wrong with people having an opinion.

So in other words, the Urs are extremely overpowered and they could take on anybody? Either that or the Frostmane are extremely under-powered. Unless these attributes are unique to the Frostmane and Urs. But a pack still deals more damage to a single Ur. Honestly I don't think the Urs would be any match for the Frostmane.

Frostmanes as a name is too bland. A canine race will be made at some point. I just have no idea for a name yet. This suggestion is in the right direction when it comes to lore though, an Ur could smack anything to death or break any race's skull by biting on it, but are inherently slow due to their small legs and massive frame.
