After Billy Rage's very negative and not at all happy thread (dw I still luv u), I figured that it's a good idea to have a thread for things that are good. A good deed thread, so to speak. In here you can post what kind of good things you or your character has done.

Does setting shriekers on fire count as good (not that I know anyone who would do this)?

...nothing. Lanaskan pretends to be nice but he probably would try to kill most humans he meets.

Well.. Cawkward and I thought it would be a good idea to help a new player and all. We gave him food, diamond blocks, ect. Just simple things for the newer guy to get along, and enjoy his time here. We somewhat just talked to him briefly and told him where to go, and all.
However.. that all turned down for the guy decided he was going to stalk us for about and hour to the point we had to hide in the basement of the tavern because he wouldn't.. go away.. He just kept standing by the door shouting "PLS!" or "Adealia plz!" continuously.. (Which yes, caused alliance spam as we screeched in terror from the intense stalking)
I guess it's nice to help the new people, since it takes a bit to gather your things up unless you want to spend all this money, but. That guy was.. a /bit/ creepy, and just wouldn't leave. So, this was pretty much us at that moment in time;

Everything I do is good...to me! But especially good to other people, lets see...um...somewhere...what was that one time...I'll get back to you on this. I am a very neutral person.

I gave Athena the journal of a criminal?
And I am decent enough to let the rest of the world see my beautiful face. ;)

I don't believe that one needs to or should talk about their good deeds. "The best good deeds are the ones done for no reward." If you need recognition for good deeds in order to do them than they aren't good deeds at all, just a desire to gain compliments and importance.

Usually bragging about good deeds made you look like you're boasting a little,
but,
what's life without it?
Seransic helped a Beauveret catch a paint theif, I had successfully helped defend Zion back in about 1.2 from a raider with God gear, and not much more, I spend most of my time just roleplaying.

I tend to give obnoxious amounts of silver to people, this one time someone was like "I only need 70s more to start a faction" in general so I just sent it to him.

Darknesscrusher mine wasn't meant to be dark, I thought it would be funny, you guys are just horrible people.
  • I fought five mag raiders by myself because they wanted to have some PVP
  • I taught a few people how to RP
  • Helped people understand magic
  • healed a few people when the old magic lore was in place. This made Elena see that I was a mage and hated Tyfran for it
  • Tried to RP as a bartender to help (Is that a sin or a good deed?

I did somuch, really so much good things.. Like that one thing, remember? That was something right! Well, oh and do you recall that time we did that thing? Yes that was amazing! Oh and robbiey3 do you remember we did that thing, with those people being all kind and stuff, we did much good things.. Good..

I led someone who was turning into a vampire to the cathedral and made him touch the lapis. Not so sure he was too happy with that though, aha. I don't think he wanted to be cured. Whatever.

I gave a old lady flowers.

I just couldn't tell which was the non-poisonous.

I gave my brother shorkpeto and bornasepic the code to a hisoka portal so he could invade hagakure (sowwy mech)

๖ۣۜNo deed usually needs to be told to be known. Usually a true hero is the one never noticed, and the one never caring to be noted, sometimes not even doing the biggest deeds. Even helping you tie your shoe can be your hero.

...
Goddammit, Mech. :c

Nonetheless, I do have a knowing to do good stuff, but they usually are small.

I think in this case Mech, this is more an opportunity to tell of what good you have done with minimal praise. Normally there are not many occasions we can do so, and, well, this is the internet, I would suppose we would not obtain much on the compliments side besides an opposable thumb sticking in the air. I certainly know there will not be that much praise here, mainly because people are more focused on what good they have done, if you think of it, there are some people not at all complimenting the others on their good deeds, so their response so far is just out there.

And it is healthy to know and remember that you have done good, because it shows you were a hero to someone at least once in your life, either over a game or within reality...

Oh in that case... BRING OUT THE SELF PREENER B*TCHES! :P

In all honesty I don't think I do that much beyond just being a generally friendly, nice, and forgiving guy. I believe in giving everyone a chance to enjoy themselves (so long as it doesn't hurt others) and I try to remember that this is the internet - no reason to hold grudges against people I'll never meet in my life.

Umbram:
  • Saved Adam Aruna's life from being poisoned.
  • Looked after Aria Tezari's well being when Ingulf died.
  • Rescued Liliana's life when she was trapped in a cave far from civilization.
  • Intercepted a sword from hitting Liliana.
  • Fought off Damon Sictor from hurting several people.
  • Aided Sivik's escape from regalia when he began to go into bloodlust.
  • Stayed by Aria Tezari's side when she fell ill, contracting the illness himself, though most likely saving her life.
  • Punched Flynn Synclair in the face, and raided his house for insulting him and hitting on Aria and Liliana.
    (That's totally a good deed)
  • Cared for a ill woman he barely knew.
  • Let a suffering girl rest eternally rather then watch her kill everyone she knew and loved.
  • Gave many people a person to hate and attempt to kill. Like a lightning rod for anger lol.
  • Healed a few people with his magic.
  • Killed a seven foot naga and burned the body, to reveal later that said player was supposed to be banned.
  • (Kind of) Killed a orc twice his size who sent assassins to kill Aria and her family with only a knife.
  • Stormed the Beauveret home, and was the first to reach them.
(This could have been a good thing for a few people...)
  • Stood face to face with Mrs.Baver, and courageously (stupidly) swung his sword at her.
  • Left Regalia and the role-playing public forever.(There should be more but I totally blanked on them. His sins greatly outnumber his good deeds though... Sadly)
I also introduced Omnomivore to the server

Probably shouldn't have posted a list onto here...

Well i once took a little "blind" kid inside, it turned out that he sucked my blood. But left me 5 silvers for shelter against the sun. Ah... A good deed!

Okay, so a lot of people think I'm annoying or something, which I count as my good deed. I have witnessed their mutual dislike for me bring them together, and in trying to create something bad towards one person they have created something good for many, including themselves. The jokes I've heard about me bring laughter, bonding, and friendship, not to mention some are actually pretty funny although they're directed at me. I think it's amusing people haven't realised their petty dislikes have, in fact, brought some happiness and unity amongst themselves.

I guess the moral of this is that if you ever feel like people dislike you, let them be like that. You're bringing joy into the world- be that serverside or in real life- literally for just being you. That is a great thing. Be proud.

(Note there is a fine line between being yourself and being purposefully irritating.)

... Halp.

Umm well I've helped quite a few noobs at spawn. Any noobs I've killed in wilderness I've returned their stuff and given them a full set of iron armor, a diamond sword, and some extra diamonds and iron blocks in order to make up for killing them... I've also taken a few new players in and took care of them, teaching them what and what not to do, helping them train their stats, and find a place on the server. Despite that I guess I don't do much.

When I see people starving, I always make sure to give people food before they die. And when I see people being mean to others about their RP, I make sure to let the supposedly "bad role player" know that they aren't bad at all. In roleplay, I'm usually trying to protect my friends. Like that one time with Rory when he got into a bar fight. He just shouted "Ellie!" and I was there in a flash. Is that good or?... Meh -shrug-

OOC:
Helped a lot of noobs by giving them food
Helped people by giving them factions and free rooms
Gave a player 90s so his shop could stay open
Gave a player 60s to buy a faction
Helped in wars
Helped improve a friend's rp skills.

Hiu:
Let a vampire stay in his house (a friend)
Given food to his friend Siverius (MegaMummy200)
Gone on a crazy advemture with Ms. Clary Tonem. (ConfinedPandora)

James:
Gave Rohghash (Th3_Drunk_Monk) shinies!
Befriends random people who he meets on the street (it can often lead to some crazy adventures)
Gave Ms. Rosalie Lovegood (katiesc) a NAMED EMERALD as a birthday gift, and she still kicked me out of her party for being a commoner.

Someone requested to kick half the commoners out and Athena(robbiey3) put it in action x3

Hmmm...I found a new player once in the wilderness with a full-iron guy chasing him. I summoned a wolf, used an invisibility potion, and killed the iron-armor guy. Then I gave the new player the iron armor and all of the weapons the guy had. The new player then killed me. Oh, well.

I've helped out many, many new players. I gave them supplies, gave them information about the server, a place to live ect ect. Some of them are decently well known and powerful people now, others are hiding in the wilderness somewhere. I give people food a lot, too.

I gave my brother shorkpeto and bornasepic the code to a hisoka portal so he could invade hagakure (sowwy mech)

You know, you are supposed to be saying good things you have done.

However, some good things that I have done might be, getting multiple people to join Massivecraft, some of which are awesome, others of which I still need to keep here...I roleplay a lot, and excellently, and I did great things in Hisoka.
