Dwarves used to look like this.

It was a good concept, but the race has been the least illustrated race on our platter. The above picture is of Kilain Thordal. Kilain has been redrawn and reconceptualized, the dwarf physical features exaggerated to set them further apart from Ailors into the following:

Very nice MonMarty, but I'd always imagined Dwarves being wider than they are tall. Not in a fat way, but in a shoulder width way, they short but powerfully built with a wide stance and wide shoulders.
