Anathema and Kabili of the Rosaria Circle invite any of the city to an open forum discussion on Magic & The Occult. Are we bound to the inclinations, expectations, and stigmas of what makes us? Expect the conversations to be something along these lines. Attendees of the gathering should treat it earnestly, and should ideally not use it as a spectator sport. Failure to uphold this may lead to bans from potential future gatherings. Members of the Rosaria Circle will be present to help ensure decorum is kept. Words are the only sharp things that should be exchanged. The Gathering alternates locations: more public symposiums will be held in Arena Court, while smaller gatherings will be held in the Hexen Arcane Sanctuary. Occasionally, Gatherings will be held in Crookback to include parts of the Occult population who cannot, or do not wish, to enter the City Proper. OOC Who: Folks interested in Magic (tm) What: “Voidlings Anonymous” When: Weekly/Bi-Weekly, see Calendar Where: TBD Per Meeding Why: Character Ideological Discussion. Conflict, but with words!
Anathema releases some changes to the Gathering's structure: -In the interest of dissuading idle background chatter/gawking, the Gatherings will now be held in Caelfall. This changes little, and any who attended prior are still encouraged to come. -The Gatherings will be more rigidly structured into 3 sections. 1. Introductions. Self explanatory. 2. Question of the Meeting. The moderator of the night (usually Anathema) will pose the question of the night. Usually something relating to identity. Then, the group will go around, with everyone given a chance to answer. Once all have answered, there is room to argue, or discuss other's answers. End of this discussion is determined by the moderator of the night. 3. Free Story Time. Anyone can tell a story, if they want. About anything, really, as long as it is somewhat related to the meeting's theme or relevant to the question of the meeting.
An update to this! Anathema announces the addition of "Symposium Weeks" which are weeks in which the Gathering will take on a more rigid debate structure compared to the normal weeks. These will be marked on the Calendar, and are explained in the main post! They're likely to be once or twice a month at most.
Been a little bit since the last one, but Anathema will be hosting another "Symposium Week" this Saturday, the 16th, starting at around 3pm CST! It will be hosted at the Alms Ministry's Hall to best accommodate space and Conduces!
