The Garan Chadenn is the name of the mercenary regiment hailing from the Duntot family, commanded often by their elders and is being carried on as the name of the Mercenary band of Cordilaire of Duntot. The Garan is a small, focused group of comrades who have collectively set their sights on taking contracts and missions together. The Garan is quick and efficient in their dealings, ruthless with the types that require it, but able to treat things with a gentle and cautious hand when necessary to ensure that a contract is fulfilled properly and honourably, they function with a high level of regard and deference for their contractors with the belief that good work offers repeat custom.
Above all others, income is the name of the game for the Garan, money breeds money in the industry of mercenaries, with smaller contracts becoming larger ones as recruitment and equipment is purchased and improved further enhancing the reach of the band and the scope of its operations. Similarly, an increased income leads to an increase in charity and patronage of the finecrafts the Empire has to offer.
As tight-knit as it is, the Chadenn does recruit new members. This should be conducted directly without need of letter, but should it be found necessary pen it to Dame Humaira Reinard for discussion.
There is no hierarchy in the Garan beyond the roles of Commandant and Soldier, each member has their role to fill that fits their individual skills and they often work apart from each other in smaller teams. As such the structure is notably flat and laissez-faire in its operation. The Garan is always seeking new members of all professions, as all skills can be used in war, even if they're not combative in nature.
