Fourth Decree of the Grand Imam

Bread and Bravery​

If one were to look about Regalia in these times, they would realize that Cehennem itself had reached its maw out to devour the unlucky and foolhardy. The Hounds of Betzikya, once having been borne from the sky, now ascend from the earth and terrorize innocents and sinners alike as they make their way to destroying Regalia and possibly all of Aloria. Are these truly the End Times that faith speaks of, have the demons been given free reign over the world until everything is gone?

As a Grand Imam, as a fellow man of Regalia, as either a friend or stranger, I call upon everybody to help alleviate the suffering of the people in these times. Previous decrees have been calls to jihad or becoming a stalwart defense against evil, and those decrees are not to be null, but I now simply ask to lend a helping hand and bring charity to the unfortunate.

I will be holding soup kitchens and bread lines, gatherings where the poor need not go hungry or the isolated need not to be alone. I ask as many brave and charitable souls as possible to volunteer in this endeavor, for all of Regalia must band together and ease one another if we are to have the willpower to survive this calamity. To the Churches of Union, the common folk roaming the streets, followers of all faiths of goodwill, the nobles of the Empire, I ask every single one to join me in alleviating suffering.

The Prophet Mergen once stated to "prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of the Yaradan, and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know but whom Yaradan knows," when speaking of being brave against the enemy. Let our steeds be our iron will, the determination to never fall in the face of evil. Show bravery now, show compassion, and we may find our salvation.
