While she did hold a general understanding of etiquette and politeness when in the company of the peerage, the young woman found herself distracting easily, managing to incorporate her true passion, music, into nearly every conversation. Now a couple of years have passed, Florance finds herself more stern and upheld, finding it difficult to relax when in the company of those she doesn't know. Her relationship with the peerage shifted as the spark of anxiety that came with her lineage, drove the free-spirit and eccentrics off the table, yet let slip in private. Personal Perception: Growing up in an esteemed noble house is a lot of pressure for anyone. While conforming to the many rules of etiquette has certainly gotten easier over the years, Florance has never been one for conformity. Thusly, she is quite insecure and self-critical, causing her to be exceedingly stressed in high-pressure situations. Something that Florance tends to suppress is her highly emotional tendencies, which is only truly reflected within her music. The Kade woman has struggled in pinpointing her identity and what she truly wants out of life, which results in her being quite reserved when it comes to her emotions, while still being very sensitive, especially to criticism. Now with her feline friend, she is usually found bouncing off their company to maintain composure, looking towards TK for guidance, despite... being a cat. Kin Perception: When in the company of those she cares for, Florance takes an almost motherly and considerate role, hoping to provide and support her loved ones in any way possible. This is partially due to her background as a teacher, and partly because of an innate desire to keep her family and friends safe and content. While remaining fairly distant with extended family, once someone has gained Florance’s trust, they are showered with affection, and care. However, when the family need to discuss important conflicting opinions, Florance will usually sit back and watch, until providing her final input. She wishes for unity, and aims to see things from all perspectives before contributing her say. This will usually be through acceptance and leniency, but overall conclude in a stern resolve. Morality: Florance considers herself to be a good, moral individual, with a strong sense of right and wrong. While she realizes that some things must be done for the greater good, she fails to understand the complexity of certain political situations, and often has a fair amount of unspoken disdain for the rest of the peerage. Height: 5’9” Weight: 141 lbs Body Build: Ripped Weapon of Choice: Longsword / Anglian Longbow Spoiler: Character Art ~ Life Story ~ Birth - Early Childhood (0-7) On the 18th of July 277 AC, Florance Tannis Kade was born in Axford, Anglia to her father, Chancellor Moriarty Kade, and mother Liliane Ivrae-Kade. Two years later, Florance’s younger brother Xavier is born. Due to some health complications, Xavier is sent off to Ithania to live among the Kade-Salards branch. Florance isn’t majorly affected by this change, due to her distance from her youngest brother. Another one of the young girl’s brothers leaves Anglia, as Cedric is sent off to the Viridian School. She secludes herself and takes an interest in music and archery. In 285AC, the dreaded Chrysant War begins, as Moriarty goes to war with Thomas as Alexander takes care of the household. Fearful and ill-informed, the young Florance begins reading, and listening to music on a regular basis to distract herself from the chaos of the rest of the world. Childhood - Adolescence (7-18) Begins a basic education, including tutoring in subjects such as Common, Ithanian, Mathematics, Family History, etc. Florance shows a particular interest in languages, while struggling in more logic-based methods of study such as maths. During, Florance had persuaded her parents into being privately tutored in Archery, utilizing any other hour to practice both her music and precision. Two years later, the Chrysant war comes to an end. Relief was cut short as her mother was killed by Slizzar revanchists, along with the wives of Thomas and Alexander. At the age of fourteen, Florance finishes her basic education and begins her training to become a proper Lady of the court. While not outright rejecting the training, she shows a significant disinterest in it, instead returning to her music as a support to deal with her mother’s death. Finishes her lady in waiting training at the age of eighteen, being finally given the autonomy to do with her life as she pleases, Florance looks into moving to Ithania to study at the Conservatoire Royal de la Musique in Ithania. Young Adulthood (18-22) Joins the court of an influential Ithanian noblewoman, and enrolls in the Conservatoire to study Instrumental Music and Musical theory. Florance hones in her skills on the piano and the harp under the four years that she stays at the school. While the young Kade manages to develop a few friends, she decides to return to her homeland of Anglia at 22. Upon doing so, Florance enrolls herself into the Door-Inner Huis College, eventually crossing paths with Vhilomir Kade. Adulthood (22-27) Functions as a music tutor for the younger peerage during her time in Anglia, whilst balancing study at Door-Inner. With various pressures from her family and Imperial Culture, of which she was re-immersed in, Florance persuades Nathan Kade, at first, to aid her knowledge in self defence. She began her training in Longswords and Cavalry in 300 AC. A few years in, Leah took over from Nathan after a discussion at the dining table, thus allowing the pair to develop a bond, as Nathan moved forth with his own endeavours and separated. Underwent physical training to accelerate her strength and technical understanding, having utilized her upper arm strength gained through longbow archery. Finally meeting Leah’s standards and exceeding in her combat knowledge, Florance decides to settle in the Holy City (in 305 AC), in order to spread her reach of music and aid her older brother given the current happenings. Present (28-29) Tutors the children and peerage of Regalia, utilizing her free time to be social. An unfortunate run in with attacks upon the Princess and a slap of reality, results in anxiety revolving the peerage, public appearances and the safety of her kin. After a discussion with Jared Kade, Florance spends the majority of her time secluded, making time for those she felt comfort for as well as her students. During the Clicker Crisis, Florance spends the majority of her time aiding the Regalian Guard at Greygate, aiding in the safety of the nobility before eventually residing within the Imperial Progress. She reappears later to aid the Typhonus family, whom in which gave up their estate to house the Regalian citizens during the final fight against the Rift. Having returned to Anglia in private seclusion, Florance then travels back to the Holy City (309 AC) upon decree of the Emperor; The recreation of the Bancroft family.
