Good day and the Spirit's blessings upon you denizens of the Holy Crown Isle.

Tis the first week of the Crimson Inquisition's revival, and unfortunately we must report to you all that already by now we have uncovered most concerning news. The situation in the city is far more severe than we had first anticipated, alas we shall not let the difficulty of the task deter us from fulfilling the promises we made to the Emperor, his Empire and his citizens.

Therefore we shall not lie dormant and allow this blatant disregard of the natural order to continue with impunity. The nobility of Regalia must respect the appropriate etiquette expected of them in the Holy Isle, and we are taking it upon ourselves to surveil the behaviour of the peerage. If you are to reside in His Imperial Holiness' capital then you had best at the very least follow a base set of rules to distinguish ourselves from the lower stratas of the Empire. You are blessed with blue blood by the Emperors of yore, do not disrespect their wisdom by bringing shame to the Empire's elite.

In the same vein, the common man, woman and child of Regalia shall respect the Spirit's desired order. Your betters are to be treated as such, and to deny their privilege or to defy it is a worrying stepping stone to pledging oneself to the Jacobinist cause. You needn't bend the knee whenever they pass you by, but a certain appropriate minimum of deference shouldn't be too much to ask. We can only assume that the Grand Duchess of Lorhauser, our Secretary of Feudal affairs, produces a list of appropriate behaviours in your dealings with the higher class. And remember, a good citizen reports any and all blasphemy. Betrayal of friends and family for the Emperor is just.

With that said and done, we are allowing the public to be made aware of certain inquests which may raise awareness around the workings of the Inquisition. Be sure to read every letter of our words, for these matters are of utmost importance and cannot be misconstrued.

By order of the Crimson Inquisition, an inquest is placed upon the illegal organization known as 'The Blackhawks' on the charges of Jacobinism and furthering Jacobin ideals.
These outlaws are not to be taken lightly, as they seek to uproot the natural order as was designed by the Imperial Spirit. Their murmurs of treason are not mere jests, and we've already set our minds and hands to work on dismantling the upstart revolutionaries of Old Town. Sympathy for their cause is association, and any man or woman found to be assisting these 'Blackhawks' in any way, shape or form will be dealt with as if they are one of the Jacobinist devils themselves.

This last piece on the accursed 'Blackhawks' addresses you directly, the misguided proles who have been lured to the cause of these self-aggrandizing bandits. We of the Inquisition possess the Spirit's mercy, and we extend it to you should you wisen up and see the error of your ways. You've three days to report yourselves to the Inquisition for penance and forgiveness. It is not too late to return to the Spirit's warm embrace, for he is merciful to all his true believers. You are allowed a mistake, it is only human, but make it knowingly and you are as lesser as the kathar we fight to protect the Empire you take for granted.
Accept our offer or suffer with your so-called peers. Your choice, citizen.

We are also afraid to report that a vile rumour surrounding the Duke of Narlas, Christopher of the House Black, and the nature of his birth. While there may be no laws regarding bastards in the line of succession there is still the matter of hiding your true self to the realm. We therefore open an inquest on the Lord of the House Black on the grounds of dishonesty to the Emperor and the Spirit itself. We pray this rumour is mere falsehood, but these accusations are too severe to leave up to hope. The Inquisition shall investigate His Grace's birthright and put an end to these terrible allegations raised against the great Admiral and Lord of the esteemed House Black. Untill a verdict is released to the public we ask that any and all mentions of this rumour be silenced to protect the honour and prestige of the House Black. Your understanding is appreciated.

The vile whispers in Regalia rarely rest, and we must regretfully inform you that the Houses Delmotte and Ravenstad shall fall under the same scrutiny as House Black. An inquest is placed upon the Archduke of Basta, Louis of the House Delmotte, and his sister the Lord Principal's Consort and Baroness of Ansenborough, Emmeline Ravenstad née Delmotte. This disgusting rumour of their far too close bond must be brought to an end, and so it shall with the Inquisition's greatest attention. We ask that the same courtesies as the above are paid to these two families. A rumour is most often only a misunderstanding wrapped in more misunderstanding, and the Inquisition prays that the Archduke and his sister can count this rumour one of them.

The Inquisition has returned, Alorians. Spirit bless.

Signed,

The Landgrave Hengest I of Vlissinghelm,
Lord of the House Harhold,
Rightful Revain of Zuiderpoort,
Commander of the Crimson Inquisition.

"I am more than willing to cooperate with the Crimson Inquisition, and I invite them to investigate whatever they must to put this vicious rumour to bed" stated Louis Delmotte

This just sounds like it'll create even bigger of a gap between the commoner and noble player base.
I don't find this decision wise as 90% of the people I have seen are either afraid of them or dislike nobles altogether, both ic and/or ooc feel too anxious to approach them. That and it's already unfair for the majority of the playerbase that nobles have more noble-centered and noble-EXCLUSIVE events.

And that's the tea sis.

Actually! I think this would help Noble/Commoner RP since Jon is cueing for a list that would show how to treat nobles as a commoner. A lot of commoners avoid nobles because they don't know how to interact with them, and a lot of nobles avoid commoners because they don't want to have to explain the rules to them. This makes it straightforward and easy to understand if there was a list. Assuming you're citing where there be more respect towards nobles from commoners.

Perhaps it would be wise to experience Jonificus's leadership of the Inquisition first before condemning how he'll run it. Its not as if he's going to run around executing characters, if anything he's giving commoners and nobles something to react to which is always fun and enjoyable. As for the noble only events, thats because the events are hosted by the noble players. Commoners may host their own events for themselves or others. In fact, there have been at least 3 this last week. Be positive!

Nace took a deep breath in, eyeing over the declaration, sat on his bedside within the old Gladiator Villa. His thumb and index finger pinched the bridge of the simple-mans nose. He seemed distraught, unknowing of what to do... which was surprising for a man who held himself up as if he were the king of Aloria. The gangster, no, the mere Ailor man- he held no religion, he obeyed to know conformed societal ideal, he was a rogue, and he always had been. But what was he too now, that was the question that ran through the Highlanders mind over, and over again. Until these flickering images of destruction, what was to come turned into real, moving components that flooded his mind as he sat down, his breathing quickened before he stood- ripping out the nearby drawer by the wall, watching as it slammed against the flooring. His exasperated huffs were only drowned out by the stomping feet of his followers to see what was the matter. He turned, looking over his pupil before stating hoarsely, in a guttural tone "This Harhold /dares/ to test me? A commoner who has done no wrong by your precious Spirit, grown up in the rage amongst nobles, a simple chess-match for them bluebloods. And has only brought peace to the working people of Old Town. We'll see what he has to say face-to-face."

A certain fiery Viridian sat within his chambers within Kurtenwald Castle, a squire reading off the recent notice to him. The man sat along his bed, running a cloth along his longsword's blade, golden smoke beginning to faintly trickle from the blade, "It appears there is work to do then."

"One can only write and say- but many can not act upon their word," spoke a specific Altalar upon examining the paper.

Ivan slowly moved his golden Unionist eye medallion to his forehead, closing his eyes.
"This is only the beginning." a small murmur came out.

William would mull the ominous letter over in a small lean-to beside a dying fire. He spoke to himself in a musing tone.

"Misguided? Maybe. Dangerous?"

"Certainly."

He suspected it wouldn't be the last he'd be hearing of these Crimsons.

The raptor scanned over the declaration with an initial diminishing attention. The feathers along his cranium slowly drooped as his eyes gradually widened, realizing what the letter was transcribing.

"If only the Inquisition knew of what I know."

Tossing aside the copy, he'd scrutinize over the towering pile of paperwork at his desk, a defeated frown furrowing along his maw.

Aleck buttoned his shirt cuffs as he had another guardsman read the announcements to him, a fair amount of head shaking and tutting came from him before he finally spoke out. "Fucking Spirit-.. He does what with his sister?" He sighed and shook his head, throwing on his coat and hanging his mace at his belt. "Rumours always come from a basic truth, let us hope that basic truth is just that they are close and not as these rumors let on."

"Did he sign that- wait, did he write that?..." Cregann Wondered out loud, before coming to a conclusion. "It must be a miracle, The Illiterate Blue Blood can write! Har! S'pose it's the Spirit's gift to him for leading the inquisition."

Damian Gray stepped forward at the notice, raising an eyebrow to it. The ex-Black had just returned to Regalia after a long trip, not sure how to explain this from his cousin. "Questioning Chris's birth? That is one strange rumor. However, he is still a fool to say the least. I best be going back to work."
