Faction Plans For The New World?

A castle, blocks/items market, a pvp safe roleplay spot, and a town that surrounds my friends castle and my castle.
 
Gonna build me a desert merchant town along the coast. Gonna have a safe area for trade and roleplay as well as a new PvP Arena (Warzone) if they keep doing that. It may take time, but I've always loved the desert.

Alternately, if I can't claim the location(s) I want, I'll make Docktown 3.0 with the same goals as my desert town.
 
Current plan is to get a spot in those Dover cliffs, make a nice secure castle on top of one of the plateaus, and do a series of small villages sort of half burrowed in the cliffs surrounding the plateau, sort of like this style of housing that I've done previously in the underground caves of Hyarroc:

The differences being that it would be outside on a cliffside instead of in cave pillars, have a brighter colour scheme, and not be separated into different islands. Also plan to make a trade market somewhere, probably in a giant, natural looking cave that I'll manually dig out, so it remains secure from undesirables. Only have a general picture in my head, since this is all sort of assuming I get one of the spots that I've been eyeing on the dynmap. If I can't get them, then I guess I'll improvise something.
 
I'm just gonna wander around making small camps, maybe making areas more lush and fertile with farms and plantlife. Maybe I'll dig around and hide some ancient ruins underground. With MassiveRestore gone, the entire world is suddenly open again.

I once wanted to build a giant cactus in the Ithanian desert just for the heck of it. I might actually go through with it on Essalonia.
 
I was thinking about building a road, or a system of roads. A railway could also be neat, but I'd probably need to claim that to make sure it doesn't get griefed.

If anything we're probs just gonna rebuild NorthWatch's 5 year old Valkyrie statue. It has survived this long, might as well try and keep it going.
 
Going back to my roots. Digging a hole in the ground and not comin out for a year.
 
I am going to build an underground dwarven highway.
Think Deep Roads in Dragon Age.
 
I'll go north and settle in the snow, the snows always been my home, perhaps I'll build a few roads also
 
So everything we build will just stay there forever? What if someone builds a gigantic Mario humping a box of pancake mix?

Probably going to build a Viking style town complete with docks, longboats, a great hall, multiple houses, a keep, and other things that I'll eventually think of, and a place for all of our sacrifices to the Duckfather
 
Here's to hoping I get the island spot I want, but: An ancient elven garden home with a giant cavern below it with rooms incorporated into the walls with patios jagging out. In the cavern space have submerged, dis-repaired ruins and crypts. A dragon-berry vineyard and port. A wine cellar to hold my storage in the form of wine barrels (better for roleplay instead of simply making another chestroom). And lastly an underground sewage system-type roadway spanning all over the map (for players and vampire/slum roleplayers to use a-like). Making a new character for this world, so unfortunately I will not be using a build I've been working on for months now (a vampire dragon-castle with lots of dragon statues incorporated on it). If anyone wants the plans for this old castle, I can send you a schematica of it.
 
A sandstone dwarven citadel in the southern desert. I love this idea because it's the opposite of what you'd expect a dwarven city to be like. It would combine Qadir/ Arabic architecture and dwarven architecture.
 
As I just decided to join and it's resetting, I might be either join someone's project or building an academy on a random secluded land.
 
Will the new server map be updated to minecraft 1.13? I was hoping to use the new water mechanics for my house and sewers for the Collective.
