  • Name Explanation: This character was born to a Teledden male, who died very shortly after his child was born. Therefore, they do not know their full Teledden name, only their birth name.

Core Concept
Fälyaren/Fälyara is a beauteous, lively Teledden who works and is known for working as what can only be described as a professional companion. Their occupation revolves around selling their friendship, for a lack of better words, plying a trade of providing a relationship for a price. One could consider the Estallorn to be almost akin to a therapist, but one dedicated to the concepts of spreading love and affection amongst those they interact with. One can seek them out and hire them to be a friend, to listen, be a comfort or akin to a lover, or even just to look pretty while sitting near them, and these are all things they offer very freely. Outside of this, they are surprisingly philosophical and astute, being a devout Estelley worshipper and devotee of Sapphora, and equally so sharp in debate and wise on the issues important to them.

Appearance Information
Possessing the serene beauty of the Teledden, Fälyaren/Fälyara can only be described as quite visually appealing under conventional beauty standards. While not tall for an Elf, they are lithe, fit, with alluring features regardless of gender presentation. Glowing Existborn irises occupy their eyes, and extraordinarily long, blonde hair cascades about their shoulders and head, sometimes being manually curled for aesthetic purposes. They are fond of hair jewelry, often adorning their golden locks with all manner of aesthetic accessories, especially intertwining it with pink rubies to match their eyes.

Plot Hooks

• Character is a professional companion and comfort-provider. Has owned and worked in various houses of pleasure, but also as a hired friend, lover, or even just arm-candy to various courtiers, nobles, politicians, etc.
• Character is devoutly of the Estelley Faith, being quite astute in religious doctrine and philosophy, willing to debate the topics of faith for hours.
• Character is even philosophical on non-religious issues, having much to say on the world at large, and especially about the plights of the Elven People throughout the continents.
• Character is non-combatant, and even somewhat pacifist, though not in totality.
• Character is a Beauty Arkenborn, and an Exist Mage, having ties to the arcane in certain manners of speaking, though mostly at a superficial level.
• Character is a fashionista to a fault, but also something of a culture and aesthetics snob. She holds an devoted appreciation to visual and physical aesthetics and appearances, both in the looks of people, but also places and architecture, even down to nature.

Life Story

• Born Fälyaren as a Beauty Arkenborn between the eponymous Arken and a Teledden male, Fälyaren is from the Allorn Empire by the circumstances of birth. However, referring to that as their home is a matter of semantics, as they hardly can claim much of it as such due to only living in their birth city, Essaëlle, for two days. Shortly after their birth, their father passed away tragically. He so desperately wanted a child, due to his ailing self, but could not live long enough to see them properly cared for or tended to.
• This being said, Fälyaren was moved to the nearest next of kin, who was another Teledden cousin living in Macaïaal. Tragically enough, this cousin also died. Unable to find any next of kin, the local government in said region had no choice but to place the babe in an orphanage. This is primarily where Fälyaren grew up.
• Thankfully, said orphanage was a Teledden-central one, which still prided itself on ensuring even orphans could live up to being worthy members of Allorn society. As Fälyaren grew up into proper childhood, their personal allure, affinity for dance, song, and ballet, became prevalent. Being an Arkenborn, they used their nascent arcane abilities to influence their fosters' minds to have them afford Fälyaren to board at Madame Bette's Performing Arts Institute in Ithania.
• Fälyaren did not stop using their abilities to make their destitute situation better. Influencing their instructors around them to give preferential treatment at times, they excelled greatly in their studies of dance and ballet. During this time, they traveled back and forth between Ithania and Macaïaal, as technically even mind-control would not enable them to not be an orphan still. Or at least, the character was not skillful enough yet to enact such change. For the time being, Macaïaal was still their home. And after graduating Madame Bette's, they could even move onto to study at Nicolodi's Dance Academy. This required no meddling on their part, though, as their top marks enabled them to receive something akin to a full-ride.
• Fälyaren once again split time between Vultaro and Macaïaal, school and home. By the time they finished, they were roughly around sixteen, and nearly able to leave the orphanage in Macaïaal for good. This turned out to not matter at all, as about a year later, the Elven Wars broke out, and between the effective genocide Regalian Generals inflicted upon the Principality, and nearly all of the slaves escaping, Fälyaren became what could only be described as a war refugee.
• Fälyaren, thankfully, had their credentials from both their performance academies, along with the silver and gold they "persuaded" their now-refugee former-fosters to part with. They were able to pawn the jewels, and find a decent home in the Archipelago, specifically in Vixhall. Fälyaren would make a living through dance now, specifically the ballet, and became something of a starlet in that regard, operating usually under the alias of either "Felix" or "Felicity", in order to potentially mitigate any anti-Elf sentiment. However, their Arkenborn status would be a constant issue in these lands. Thankfully they possessed the social wit and ability to get around this at times, though prejudice was an ever-present threat.
• Eventually, they moved to the capital city of Regalia, plying a new trade as a professional companion-for-hire. Starting with the city nobles, they worked their way up, flitting about to courts around the Empire and abroad over the decade that came. Wealth was amassed from various lines of work within this, grifting, and "persuading" members of high society to grant privileges and wealth upon them. These funds were also used to expand their magical abilities, as before, they only relied on their inherent ones from being an Arkenborn.
• In the modern times, Fälyaren is exactly this, a suspiciously wealthy Estallorn, known courtier of the elite and astute purveyor of affections. They've been known to flit about the city of Regalia on and off under a few aliases, though now presented as their true self.
