My favorite character is not someone I've played on Massive, and likely someone I'll never play here. But, here goes.
She's actually a lot like Alison Coavi. Heh... Alison might be
partially based off her.
Name: Jennifer Hansen
Age: 28
Short Description of Appearance: Jennifer Hansen is partially hispanic. She has long black hair that curls down about to her mid-back, a strange pale, yet tan skin color, and a slightly larger nose than usual. She's often donned in a good amount of makeup and what may be considered the "Fashion of the week." Some signature things you'll find the woman wearing all the time include a pair of shiny, red, plastic hoop earrings (those gaudy things), a classy leather jacket (stylish and slim fitting), or a laptop bag.
Persona/Life story:
(Gonna make it kinda brief.
Otherwise it'll turn into a novella)
She was twelve when her father bought their first computer. That day changed Jennifer Hansen forever. Suddenly, she was interested in this strange machine and all it did -- inside and out. She was fascinated by everything about it -- perhaps borderline obsessed. She. Loved. Computers.
In her last year of high school, she met who she thought was the love of her life: John Kormick. He treated her lovingly, cared for her, gave her everything she needed in a man. After she graduated, she married and moved in with him, and it was then that he changed for the worst.
Abusive relationships are never pretty, and Jennifer's was no exception. While publicly, they were the perfect couple, at home, things often turned violent. Jennifer's morale was crushed more and more, day by day. Had she not become impregnated, she would have taken her own life.
Nine months later, her time had come. John refused to go to a proper hospital, instead deciding that she should bear it at home. It was a treacherous experience, but it would be worth it when the little one was in her arms. Jennifer adamantly believed that this child would change her husband back into the loving man he'd once been.
When she woke up on the bloody couch some time later, there was no baby, but
John was still there. He told her what had happened. The word
miscarriage slipped between his cold lips. He was remorseless.
As soon as she could walk, she was gone. She joined the military almost immediately, in hopes of gaining enough money for college, and enough self defense skills should this happen again. After her time in the military, she went through a few years of college and received a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Lacking self confidence to apply for a big company, Jennifer eventually became a high school computer teacher.
She no longer trusts men, she no longer trusts others, and she no longer trusts herself. But she has her computers. At least she has her computers.
(Aaand that still wasn't brief. Damn it. Lol!)
