Spoiler: Full Life Story Full Life Story: Childhood: -Ewan Lachlan Howlester was born to William and Jehenna Howlester in 283AC, following several other siblings, and was raised by his mother in Stirling Castle in Kinwrey, Gallovia. -He spent much of his childhood playing with his brothers and sisters whilst completing his studies via a private tutor, though he shared a love of adventure with the rest of his family. -Ewan especially enjoyed spending time amongst wildlife, with regular visits to the stables and exploring the grounds of the estate to see what he could find and bring back home. -He also spent time training at both swordsmanship and archery, whilst accompanying the huntsmen whenever he could and forming friendships with many of the family guardsmen. -Eventually, William started encouraging Ewan to follow the same path of military command as he did, sending him off to the Calemberg Ordner School to start his formal education. Adolescence: -From years 12-15, Ewan attended the Calemberg Ordner School of Command and befriended a young Reimar Typhonus. The two became close allies, with much time spent together both at school and during their free time with Reimar’s home and family close by. -From years 15-18, Ewan and Reimar next attended the Drixon Riding School of Calemberg. Whilst Reimar was the better military leader, Ewan excelled at animal handling and developed a competitive edge from spars, jousts and tournaments. -From years 18-21, Ewan left Calemberg to attend the Regalian Statesman Academy in Vixhall, largely encouraged by his family to learn everything he needed as a young nobleman. He grew to love the atmosphere and activity of the capital, even if his studies bored him. -Finally, from years 21-24, he attended the Imperial Regalian Marshal Academy to complete his education as a frontline military commander. Whilst his reputation as William’s son certainly helped him, the young man stood out as a capable and confident leader. Adulthood: -Instead of immediately joining the military, Ewan returned home to Gallovia to spend time with family. He assisted with management of the house guards and armed forces, whilst returning to his loves of hunting and husbandry that he had missed during his education. -Ewan became an avid traveller, having inherited his kin’s adventurous streak. His favourite trips included joining his mother when she returned to her homeland and hunting in the infamous forests of the Hinterlands, though he always returned to Gallovia when required. -He also developed a rapport with some of the regional Great Oak lodges, often joining their hunting missions or exchanging stories with them by the fireside when unoccupied at home. -In recent months, Ewan has prepared to finally return to Regalia to be among his family and friends, whilst making a name for himself in the Regalian court and Imperial military.
