Being the youngest child and only daughter in a family of two boys, Eveleine was set to work at their family’s vineyard from a young age. Eveleine enjoyed farmwork for what it was, though sometimes the hours could be cruel and the repetitiveness could get boring. Her father Dean made an effort to instill a sense of devoutness to one’s job, citing their duty to the spirit and Empire. While traditionally Eveleine wouldn’t have been practicing with a mace and shield, her older brothers’ training became something she grew to envy. After endlessly begging her father for training, he finally relented. And at twelve years old, Eveleine began informal training. The schedule was clear for some time, during the daytime she would work in the fields and during the evening and afternoon, she’d be doing drills with her Father. Despite her brothers’ constant teasing, she proved to be a capable enough sparrer. While she had never excelled in her training, she made it an effort to not slack behind. By the time Eveleine had entered her mid-teens, Eveleine had essentially learned the best she could from her father and brothers. Not extraordinary, but she had never intended to be. The dedication and hardwork spurred an offer from her mother Alize to tutor her in sorcery. This was met with some effort of resistance from her Father, as both of Eveleine’s older brothers had gone off to join the Villiers-Eclaire and serve their duty, and naturally if she had learnt sorcery, it would disqualify her. This argument went on for some odd year or so, until with some convincing from Eveleine, she was allowed to learn Order Sorcery. Where Eveleine fell short in her training with the mace and shield, she was fairly proficient in Sorcery. Despite only starting when she was eighteen, the two spells she had cared to pick up had been perfected around twenty. With a wide set of skills and clear disinterest in marriage or relationships as her parents had wished, they offered her the blessing to travel further into the Archipelago. And her sights fell immediately on the Holy City, where she caught a ship in an effort to experience the bustling city life.
