Most of his early years was spent doing as Anglian children do, playing with the other children and getting into light trouble by the village Juff-Mevrouw. As his mother kept popping out younger siblings, Elmo began taking them to the village to play with the kids their age, going to primary school for the mandated two years himself, then taking his younger siblings back home to the farm for dinner. At the age of eight, he started to work on the farm, now obviously being a big boy for his age, he mainly was in charge of animal tending and labour rather than tending the field like his other siblings. His Velheim father was of the belief that Elmo was going to become a fine warrior, so he lightly pushed the boy towards soldier career, working him extra hard and even teaching him a sorcery spell that would help in decades to come. This prodding from his father cause the boy to eventually enroll in the Academy of Axford to study as a Wapnbog at the age of thirteen. Four years passed by quickly as Elmo trained with his bow, taking to the various exercises and such quite easily as he was naturally built for strength. He graduated and then romped about for a couple of years, travelling to Calemberg to study command then enlisting as a guard in Axford and visiting his family back home quite often, usually every other Sunday. In 295 AC, the Ranger Crisis caused quite a scare to Elmo. That year being the same year that the Feer-Drakken’s opened up to commoners, he was one of the first to begin his training within the school as a commoner, feeling as if he wanted to protect the empire in one way or another. As Elmo trained, he became good buddies with a man only known as Tommy to him. Though they were in different Houses, they took quite a liking to each other. Elmo becoming friends with Tommy for his wit, and Tommy vice versa only for Elmo’s strength and uncomplicated way of life. This is where Elmo learned how to command the frontlines even further, as he wanted to study the subject more than he already had, but the House wouldn’t include that within their curriculum. Six years after entering the school, both Elmo and Tommy graduated and left to pursue their careers as mercenaries and such. They fought in many of the recent wars and battles, Tommy the brains and Elmo the brawn. When Tommy decided to study finance, Elmo came with, equal parts to keep with his friend and to learn how to manage the money he got from mercenary work. It was only a matter of time before they both struck it big with money, Elmo filtering it back into the upkeep of his items and sending some to his parents back in Anglia, and Tommy wanting to settle down and create a business. The giant was hurt by this proposition but decided to act as a co-owner to the company to finance his own endeavors.
