  • Ellery was born to a Colonial woman and a Leutzman. Her mothers name being Ainsley Addington, her father being known only by the first name of Karl. She has an unknown number of siblings and cousins, for all she knows she could be an only child. She waa raised in an Orphanage in Brissauds, as in their naivety they found themselves unable to properly raise Elle after three bad years of attempting. She was then left to the Unionists running the orphanage, where she was well-versed in the creeds.

  • Describe the character's voice. How do they speak? What is their typical tone and speed? Do they have an accent or a tendency to stutter? Any quirks about their voice listed here. Maybe also add a list of the languages they can speak.
personality 2.webp
  • On first sight, Ellery is skittish and off-set, though seems more concerned about her own well-being than shy. She seems irritable and angry, though in a nearly childish way she attempts to make herself seem off-putting to others. She tends to scowl, her brows knitted together often enough to make a mother worry her face would get stuck that way. Elle tends to stick to her own and is most often seen by herself, if not with a small select group of people.

  • Internally, she trusts very little people, choosing to get actually close to few, and romantic with fewer. She feels inadequate, though also proud, as her moods tend to shift drastically over time. Her self-doubt, self-worth and her inner thoughts are all negative, as an orphan left behind most likely would be. Overall, she has trust issues, making herself more reserved on the inside and this also causes her to bottle up emotions.

  • In close comforts, she is distant, reserved, cold, and somewhat saddening as she refuses to truly open up to anyone. Even without a dark, brooding past, Elle still feels that her life is hers and hers alone, so it's no one's business to be involved in it. Somewhat unwillingly, she pushes people away, and those around her would need to be in very close proximity to get any true emotional sustenance from her.

  • Her morals are loose, having a horrible, god-fearing view on religion from her childhood, the creeds are nearly burnt into her memory, and thus she is terrified to not obey them. This causes her to be a good soul, though she finds herself being held back by her own uncertainty. Putting others ahead of herself could show a dependence, and depending on others is scary to her. Elle fights with her morals quite often and attempts to come across as uncaring.

Weaknesses

  • Bullet out the character's Weaknesses with at least three sentences expanding on each.

  • A Weakness should inherently be a weakness in roleplay of sorts, or some sort of trait that flaws your character.

  • You don't need to have any Weaknesses, it's entirely optional. You also don't get any additional points for Weaknesses, they are purely aesthetic.
Personality and Abilities

  • Describe any number of Character Quirks your character has, strange behavior that they exhibit in certain situations. For example, a character rubbing a beard when nervous is a quirk, or a character biting their lips when doing math is a quirk, or a character shuffling their feet when talking to someone is a quirk. Quirks are not mandatory and may be left out if the writer doesn't want to include them or can't think of any.

  • Describe your character's skills; abilities they've developed, but not necessarily put at the forefront of their lives. For example, if your character is a good cook, but not a chef, or if they are a good horse rider but not necessarily a competition racer, you would mention them here. Feel free to mention multiple skills but try to keep your character from becoming over skilled.
Likes

  • Describe three different activities, things or items that your character loves to see, do, taste or smell. Generally speaking these are things that make your character happy and in a good mood when they are near them/doing them. Go into detail why they love these things and then also explain how it makes them feel.
Dislikes

  • Describe three different activities, things or items that your character hates to see, do, taste or smell. Generally speaking these are things that make your character annoyed or angry and in a generally bad mood when they are near them/doing them. Go into detail why they hate these things and explain also how it makes them feel.
Relationships

life 2.webp
  • Born on August 3rd, 281 A.C. to a bastardized family in Brissauds. Her mother being a Colonial Ailor swooned by a Leutzman, the two had a child and promptly gave her up to a local orphanage after three years of highly unsuccessful parenting. The horrible way Ellery was raised left her a bit behind, learning more slowly in comparison to other children.
  • Her childhood from ages 3-8 was highly uneventful, as she was simply taught the Unionist ways by her Orphanage. She was still behind the other children and seemed to be stuck learning at a slower pace for the rest of her life.
  • At age ten she began learning Unarmed Combat, mostly from studying a tutor that came to scoop up a few regals from the orphanage. From this age on she studied diligently
  • Her early teenage years were also uneventful, though to make some extra money to earn herself a home when she came of age. Around this time, she also met a sweet, older boy whom she shared a quick bout of affection for. The two were merely close friends that held hands on occasion, and they split up soon after because boys are in fact, gross.
  • During her years studying combat , she also took up studying Unionism from the older women in the orphanage, who aimed to teach young ladies like herself how to survive in the real world.
  • Ellery continued to work around the orphanage, for a few years, finding herself helping out the younger children out of maternal instinct, but also finding it to be incredibly frustrating. Slowly, she became known for her emotional outbursts, before becoming reclusive altogether.
  • Soon after coming into her late teens, Ellery grew tired of the swamplands, and then as she became old enough to leave on her own, so she did. She made way for Regalia, hoping to not only see proper snow and cold weather but to experience the cultural diversity of the city itself.
  • Ellery arrived in the holy city right before the winter months began, and then chose to lay low as she worked within the slums for spare wares and coin, creating and repairing trinkets and tools for the dwellers until the snow came. She went all winter happily bounding in the snow, curling up by a public fire with a shroud over her shoulders. This went on for some months, when spring had just been on the horizon she realized the one thing she was missing was ice-skating. And thus she took herself and her boots to a lake, stepping atop and sliding out to the center where she happily slipped and slid about for a good while before a horrific crackle was heard beneath her toes. Within moments, she was submerged in the icy depths, falling straight through the thin layer of frost and into the waters below.
  • Thankfully, the woman survived; being dragged out by those watching close by, then being dragged into a clinic and being soothed from her near death, barely not freezing herself solid. Ellery has, unbeknownst to herself, been infected with the phantasma curse.

  • Her appearing as warm and comforting to others doesn't make much sense when she goes out of her way to make herself seem off-putting and unapproachable. Please change this.
