Born at the end of said storm aboard a ship to two Fin’ullen parents Elledha would have her formative years spent travelling from city to city as her parents worked as mercenaries. During this time Elledha would spend the long hours travelling whistfully gazing off into the distance at the various pretty flora and fauna of the Successor Principalities. Elledha’s parents would soon find stable work as guards for a travelling Circus, though it was comical is paid well and would prove to be a more stable source of income than mercenary work. The two accepted the work and would raise their daughter amongst the circus folk, all the while having another child Elledhas little brother Verric. Growing up amongst the circus Folk Elledha would spend long hours practising cartwheels and other movements with the gymnasts, her parents encouraged such believing it would help their daughter later in life. Elledha however delighted in tumbling and jumping through the air seamlessly. As a Fin’ullen Elledha’s parents would teach their daughter and son to be warriors from a young age. They taught their children the traditional Fin’ullen style of combat involving a spear, most useful on the deck of a ship or a beachhead however they also included lessons with both shield and dagger which they had picked up from years as sellswords. All of this combined with her sharp eyes and her gymnastic abilities led Elledha to become quite the formidable combatant in her own right far quicker than most would realise. When Elledha turned twenty three she would leave her parents, brother and the Circus behind setting out to make her own way in the world. Starting as a typical merchants guard Elledha served aboard ships for seventeen years, honing her skills as a spearwoman. All the while she kept up her gymnastic practises and worked almost religiously with the shield. However outside of fighting Elledha was an awkward young elf. She didn’t necessarily click with people preferring to be disciplined and uphold a professionalism. However this commitment to discipline led Elledha to become quite lonely and depressed for a time. She felt shut out and insular, and although she liked her space and her privacy she learned there could be too much of a good thing. The woman during this time would pickup a cactus plant at port and commit herself to taking care of it, it was also during this time Elledha began reading, one of her true loves. After her seventeen years aboard various different ships at the age of Forty Elledha set out once more into the Principalities. In a small unimportant city and an equally small an unimportant principality Elledha would become a guardian to a noble family. The families small estate and modest holdings however were enough for Elledha as she was given an honest wage and a small home near the estates grounds. In this time Elledha would learn to cook and become fully self sufficient. In Fact the elf would grow to love cooking and gardening almost as much as she did her gymnastics. The woman would grow to see Fighting not as her way of life but as her way of being. Feeling at home standing silently watching over whatever charge she was given. The imposing Fin’ullen would always be ready with spear, shield or blade. During this Time Elledha would open up a little finding friendship with one of the ladies of the house. However it was not to last as her lady was betrothed and later married Elledha knew she couldnt remain. So Elledha now fifty four closing on fifty five would return to ships. She took once more to guarding merchant vessels for a time before she set out for the great city of Regalia, to see what work there would be for a only mildly damaged Fin’ullen spearwoman.
