When the girl awoke once more within the dark confinements of the Bastion cell, it was to the metal gate being banged open and soon followed by the clinging of metal plates against one another as the Vigilant strolled his way into the cell. Azra did not move the smallest bit as she watched the armored man with wide eyes. She could see from her spot atop the cell 'cot' that hung from the wall, that Taliandra had awoken some point before her, peering just as uneasily at the guard as her Qadir friend. The two girls shared a brief glance that resulted only in an ache taking a grasp on Azra's stomach, anxiety twisting her insides as she thought what was to come.
Originally, when the man entered the cell of the two young women, he ignored the existence of Azra. For thought, perhaps, he didn't even know she was there- lying in her own blood and awaiting something to happen. She bit nervously at her lips as she stared at the man who politely asked Taliandra if she'd like a mug of what- which was nervously accepted. Azra spoke up then over the din of her mind scrambling around to form sentences.
"Me too, please."
And that was all she could manage out before being forced to swallow back her own bile, not wishing to upset the more than likely stuck up guardsman. A reply came indirectly from the man's next words: facing towards another man that apparently stood in the doorway of the cell, he requested that 'the girl be taken to the next cell for questioning.' It was then that Azra was lifted to her feet by the younger looking guardsman and assisted out of the cell, a decision she decided would've allowed her to escape had her brain not been filled with confused fog.
She was eventually dragged away and questioned- nothing profound in her words as she truly had no good answer for their questions, not to mention all that thinking made her skull ache even worse. The girl was eventually faced with iron. It had a bold 'T' on the end and looked ever sinister with it's bright red glow from hours within flames. Her breath caught with fear and she shook her violently, but she was no match to the Vigilant, who pressed her arm back easily and then the iron pressed against it- though miraculously, no tears were brought to her eyes as the pain was absent for the most part. A sob bubbled out of her, nonetheless, as she stared at the marred skin of her wrist were a capital T now was burnt to it.
Not much longer, the hardly adult of a woman was shackled once more, hissing briefly as the shackles slid over the burn wound and tears prickled at her eyes though none escaped as dehydration made sure that she didn't have enough water to spare with tears. She questioned the young guardsman on where they were headed with no reply the first try, the second received a quiet sigh and response of 'Inquisition'.
She felt as if the breath had left her.
The Inquisitors came and dragged her away with the other girl, stumbling faintly through the city of Regalia with her bandages around her head sticking profusely with blood. They were taken to underground cells and Azra felt the panic of more darkness settling into her bones- a shout and foot to the back sending her to the floor though as she refused to step forward. The Blonde inquisitor refused a sigh and she pulled the Qadir forward into her new cell- much smaller than the last.
Azra found the fear overwhelming, her breath picked up with a smell of fear and danger all the while around her. She brought her knees closer to her chest and squeezed her eyes closed as she remained motionless and curled upon the stone floors. The sound of voices emerged from the shadows outside her cell- a question her way, but the meaning behind it lost so she relayed no answer.
She could near the cell of her neighbor open and she knew ever closer would come her time to face her tormentors, too.
