    Personality and Abilities:

To others: Edward is seen as a fair and just mediator. He adheres to courtly etiquette to a fault, and almost never breaks this in public. Edward harbors an extreme distaste for criminals, and he is often seen associating with the authorities. He has, since a young age, held a firm belief in order and laws. He is very much a scholar, and is fascinated with any subject he has yet to uncover. This urge has led him into great depths of study, and to associate with many scholars, and others of similar inclination. Edward also associates with doctors and others in medical and medical research professions, and strives towards joining a charter related to these subjects.

To himself: Edward's self-esteem is almost directly associated with the boundaries of his knowledge; the more he knows, the better he feels. His confidence is bolstered nearly tenfold when he is able to demonstrate this knowledge to others - such as teach, mentor, or aid them in some way through this. This urge to aid others is not entirely due to self-confidence, but balanced with morality and universal ethical principles. Once could argue his confidence is not bolstered from assisting others, but rather his humanity.

To friends and family: Due to Edward not having any remaining family (not counting estranged relatives), this section will be a bit short in that regard. Edward, as previously stated, adheres to courtly etiquette to a fault. However, once he is suitably comfortable with someone, he may breaks this. He finds it normal to open up to someone that one is close to. In other words, his behavior changes suitably with the grade of the relationship. Edward has not had many close friends, but he appreciates any new ones none-the-less. Above all, he treats them with respect, listens to them, and strives to protect them from any threats.

Morality: Edward strives toward, in all sense of the word, justice. Justice both morally and legally. He holds universal ethical principles in an exalted regard, and often reviews his own actions to determine if they are morally just. He finds giving offense a deplorable action, and attempts to remedy the situation as soon as he is aware of it. Edward is hurt equally by words and physical harm, and can be emotionally hurt by making an enemy - whether intentionally or not.

    Talents:

Edward is very much a scholar. He excels at research, whether physical through experimentation or via reading. He finds it almost second nature to remember research and apply it. And he learns quickly in almost anything.
Additionally, Edward has always been capable of comprehending subjects others may find difficult. He finds it easy to picture things, and to understand great philosophies. And he is a quick thinker in scholarly subjects, and finds mental operations very easy.

Edward has superior fine motor skills. He has used his hands for delicate work since he can remember. He can move his hands with great finesse. And he has superior control over fine finger movements.

    Life Story:

Edward was born in Harwich, Northeastern Anglia to Frederick and Eleanor Talbot - a family which could almost be confused with nobility, judging by wealth. Edward's parents rarely had contact with him. Frederick and Eleanor were almost always gone from the manor; off to perform responsibilities for the empire, or otherwise. The main source of income for the family was mostly trade and taxes, usually reaping the profits of the town. This income would of course decline upon any hardships the town faced. Edward was, of course, given full reign of the estate and the family staff in their absence. As such, the steward of the family and the head scholar of the Harwich library were effectively his real parents - that is to say, they were his guardians, teachers, and mentors.

At the age of seventeen, Edward received a letter - news of his parents' death to lowly bandits. This came as a shock, but he felt no sorrow - at least, not any more than one might feel upon hearing of a relative's death. There was a long ceremony held upon retrieval of their bodies, but it was not necessarily meaningful. There were, of course, friends of the couple - but Edward did not have true family love for them, and therefore could not truly mourn.

Upon inheriting the family manor, soon after receiving the letter, he put many new rules into action (Only the two most notable being listed here). First and foremost, all books found were to be assimilated into the estate library. Anything that could not be, was to have a copy made of it. Secondly, a full laboratory and archive complement was to be constructed in the Eastern wing of the manor, and not to be entered without permission. This laboratory was to be used extensively following its construction. The room changed throughout the years. First the lair of a natural philosopher, then a lab for dissection and vivisection, and finally a chart room for astronomy.

From this point onward, Edward would rarely be seen outside the manor. The majority of his time was spent locked in his laboratory or library, or studying in the garden. The only exception was the frequent trips to the academy, where he was studying medicine. Edward entered the academy at age twenty, graduating ten years later at the 'Scholar' level. The next ten years, (30-40), were to be spent almost entirely in the company of the Harwich scholars, who expanded his knowledge of medicine to animals (Husbandry).

At the age of 41, Edward became stagnant. The estate was beginning to grow old, and the staff and town were suffering from poverty, drought, and famine. Edward made the decision that, in two years time and after significant preparation, he was to set out to the capital. To find and use new opportunities, to expand his knowledge, and to provide for the remaining family staff.

    Review time!
    • For everyone's convenience I'm going to ask you to label his personality paragraphs like in the template, such as "To himself, To others, To friends and family, etc."
    • Most Anglians have dark hair and blue eyes, possibly hazel. Grey is usually associated with magically enhanced characters and should be avoided for eye color.
    • What knowledge does he want for his main ambition? This is very broad and could be refined more.
    • His talents should be in paragraph form with a minimum of three sentences each.
    • I would like you to flesh out his personality more by adding more detail in his first and third personality paragraph.
    • When was he put in charge of his estate before his parents death? What was his family's trade that gave them their wealth?
    • What did he study in his laboratory? Alchemy? Medicine? Something else? You should specify this.
    • What did he do from ages 17-41, it seems pretty uneventful in there, maybe add some details!
    • The talents 'intelligence' and 'scholarly' are nearly identical, maybe combine them?
Make all edits in a different color and tag me once done!

None of the skills in the skill section are mentioned in the life story aside from saying he has interest in them, I also want you to remove one school as two is usually the limit.
Another thing with the schooling, an expert in medicine is completely devoted to his craft and most likely won't have time for much else. Please lower the medicine skill if you would like to have another higher level skill.
List age of entering, years in attendance, what level he graduated at and what age he graduated all in the life story.
