Hi again! As you may or may not know, Regalia V5 is coming up soon, and the staff are allowing players to apply for neighborhoods. This means that players can actively choose and affect where they want to live, and what where they live looks like. Under this premise, I am trying to gather players who play Chi'en-ji (And plan to play Sihai), Qadir, and Songaskia to all join in on a neighborhood with a generally Eastern-Alorian theme.

My plan, overall, is to give the cultures of Aloria's Eastern-races a place they can really shine. I want to gather players who play these eastern races so they can have a sort of 'safe place' to commune, if you will, and share cultural ideals, items, foods, so on and so forth. If this neighborhood gets fully off the ground, I plan to hold a few cultural events, as well. For this reason, I ask for only those with characters that have clear ties to their roots apply. It just wouldn't make sense if, say, a Qadir that abandoned, or generally doesn't adhere to their races' cultural values to live in a place meant to be a center of Eastern culture. As for player count, while only 7 are needed to start a neighborhood, I personally want between 10 and 12 to join in.

You'd be correct in that assumption! The Qadir, Songaskia, and Chi'en-ji / Sihai don't typically get all that well, not by a long shot. But, I chose them for that reason. I reckon that Regalia, ailor especially, would probably try to push these three races into close living quarters due to them being minorities and whatnot. I personally think it would be a very interesting dynamic of these three races; The reserved Sihai, the paranoid Qadir, and the proud Songaskia all having to come together in an Ailor - dominant city and make an unspoken, fragile truce due to both being under-represented and pushed into such close living spaces. I think a rp scene like this has potential - it could be a fun long lasting arc that results in either a mixing pot of eastern cultural values or a sort of cold war between the neighborhood races. Currently, the Neighborhood is Sihai majority, with everyone that's put their name down so far being Chi'en-ji/Sihai. Though, as said, I personally aim to get a good mix of all three races.

To sum it all up, participating in this neighborhood will allow for a unique RP experience, and will allow you to directly participate in events and in running them. I hope that the neighborhood community not only allows for IC fun, but gives way to OOC bonding as well. If you were to join, you'd have access to the OOC support of others in the neighborhood.-=How do I join?=-
I have a link to the discord right here. Anyone is allowed in the discord, even if you don't intend on joining the neighborhood. For those that wish to be a part of the neighborhood, you need to have 80 regals so you can afford the house when it's built. I also ask that you only apply if you intend to or already play a Chien'ji/Sihai, Songaskia, or Qadir regularly as a main or side-main. Finally, I ask that your roleplay be of at least standard quality. This shouldn't be a problem for most - what I mean by this is that you only have at least a base understanding of how the Eastern races should act, how to properly use the chat channels, know common ooc courtesies of rp, not have a toxic attitude, etc. etc. Basic things most players already have down. You shouldn't have to worry about this when applying - if there is a problem, I will address it privately and offer constructive criticism on how to improve. If a player shows they are unable to improve, and are deemed sub-par quality, they will be removed from the names list pre application.
