"Dream within reach, if you do disappointment won't ever befall you"
Those words kept ringing through the poor girl's mind ever since she had moved to this city five years ago. Her mother had insisted so much on coming with her when she turned twenty but luckily her father called her down a little. It would be a first the twenty year old got to leave home on her own, and not just that but move to an entire new location at that.
It was sat to say though that at times she felt alone in the big city. Normally back home she had barely any issue with walking around and talking to others as most knew her and aided her when she came around. But here everything was new. The people walked fast sometimes not even caring where they stood as others didn't move at all gathering large crowds there was no way to slip around. The odd banning of canes got the blind girl down as well rendering her truly helpless.
Now everything turned south as love came into the picture. A thing she had always said was a silly pass time for someone like her. She could never keep up with people she barely knew how could she keep up with a lover. Still it is innocent enough to dream about things right? Again her mother's words would ring through her ears about how disappointed it would make a girl like her.
Everyday she tried to do things like others did and make friends with out telling them she couldn't see. Maybe then their attitudes wouldn't change so much when speaking with her. Maybe she could get a job doing something she enjoyed doing instead of being forced into one she was limited to do. Or maybe she should just go home again... where everything was safe and no one judged her. Where conversations focused on something else then her being blind. "Dream within reach" she thought once more locking her door behind her.
[Was listening to this, sorry]
