Was hoping, if it might be possible, for the coders to re-code and re-texture the Enderdragon and have it attack factions by being controlled by server operators (like Bob the Bat) or even ridden and steered...

If an AI could be incorporated, it might also be rare but encounter-able underground in shallow caves under the wilderness. It would of course kill the unfortunate adventurer who woke it, and then burst through the roof of the cave to proceed to fly toward the nearest faction (or even the richest faction/largest faction/nearest faction with online members to fight it.)

Mind you, in any case, this should still be a very rare thing to happen except for certain dragon killing promotional events. (Grand Release of Dragons on MassiveCraft) (Dragonslayer Bonus Weekend) I mean, we don't want dragons flying everywhere. THIS ISN'T SKYRIM! (Because I know some of you are gonna say that.) I agree. But, c'mon man. Dragons.

I know it's much easier said than done, but I think this would be absolutely amazing to behold and add an edge of realism to the fantasy world, while also adding some excitement for factions that tend to RP or build more than PVP and raid. Nothing like a dragon attack to bring a medieval community together. Whatayasay?!

I believe that ride-able red dragons are planned not with the next update but an upcoming one. (yes i am aware that it was a turned down idea from notch but i read that Jeb reconsidered it)

I saw that on one server, so simply you <shift+right> click on ender dragon, and you are able to ride it.. I don't want players to ride it though, i'd like sometimes to see Mrs.Baver on dragon

. (Btw. this can't be implemented untill sharding is done)

Note: I found in the wiki that there is a religion who has the Enderdragon as their demon. The religion is the followers of Chet

Players wouldn't be riding dragons... only server staff. Mods, Admins, Owners.

The tread I posted could have all the dragons we want and give many moreroleplaying things to this server! But........it's clientside.

Its supposed to be SMALLER dragons..not like the ender dragon..

It wont be considerably an issue when server sharding is done.

Admins/mods/staff/etc. aren't SUPPOSED to have any advantage over a normal player, unless they are doing super special staff work. And I don't see how riding a dragon could help with that :/

I think that having smaller dragons or even ordinary dragons would be awesome.Similar to how the Enderdragon circles the End, you could have these dragons circle areas and occasionally respawn/spawn as Dragon Lairs. Would be nice to see a dragon or two when wandering the many worlds of Massivecraft.

Well, the point was that I don't think anyone should be riding dragons. But, If anyone had the ability, it should be them.

But whatever you do dont make them destroy blocks placed by the player. Maybe you can make them shoot fireballs like ghasts

We were talking about only rp= which means, when MrsBaver attacks you, it is stupid that she is just flying like ghast, it would be cool if she would be flying on a dragon.. :-D
