'Last night, with no children around, I had got into a fight in defence of another almshouse employee. All this during a riot, now as I wondered upon the streets and found him..He was an obnoxious, ungrateful, embarrassment. While he was injured, which he claimed was avoidable, he shown no gratitude for me standing up for him. Not to mention I was also ripped apart by another man who gave me no credit at all. Claiming he was defending him, not me. And also said that I should have got a guard. If you were there during these circumstances you would know most guards were on the cobblestone, which everyone was forbade to go on. He says I should have got a guard? How dare he?! He was beating him up and not getting a guard! That hypocritical infuriating unprincipled idiot! I can not believe this. He says he may have words with Countess Black but my god..Talking to those two is like talking to a village idiot! Oui! A village fool! Not to mention one of them said 'You were a bad role model for children.' I had no knowledge of children being there, while he did! I tried to help and stop this evil man, who was also assaulting OTHERS, but all I get is trouble. When I did have knowledge of an Almshouse child being there I quickly escorted him out, to which he ran away! It took me a few seconds to catch up but he was lost in the crowd. When I next see him he is in the middle of guards, beating him. I attempt to retrieve the child but I am grabbed by the throat by a dull orc and thrown into the flames that resided next to the Undercrown's tent. By the end of it, we were all safe. But that Slizzar DEGENERATE does not show any gratitude. He knew children were there, and told them to simply 'go home' and he claims I should not be an employee but he should?! How dare he!? That bastard did not deserve to be defended. He claims he did not take the children home because he was attending to someone else. He doesn't escort children out of a RIOT but does stuff for someone else. Wait until I tell Countess Black..I'm not losing my first god damn job because of HIM. This is ridiculous, and because one man was a noble, his decision will most likely be chosen over mine. I am not worried because I am innocent of all accusations made by these two ignorant, recalcitrant plebes. He is wealthy, so what? Nobles get last say in a lot of things but corrupt ones can pull a lie out of their ass and get away with it which is disgraceful. I was so happy to find a noble like Countess Black. I escorted the children, to the point where I knew they could have gone from there, and they came back. This was ALL unknown to me. I speak for nearly everyone when I say some nobles are corrupt. We all think it, but none of us say it because they have too much power. Although she told me she is not in search of recognition, Countess Black is what every noble should be like. I'll write an open letter if this gets any worse. I'm not letting one night define me, not by a mile. I came to become a prominent political figure and I will NOT let two men ruin my dreams and ambitions. The power I withhold within my quill is all the power I need. If this gets out, I won't care because it's the truth.
