The following is the scribblings of a troubled Nelfin locked within the confines of Krakenburg.
It would not see the light of day, nor would it come into contact with others, so it is most fittingly placed here. Each line represents a line on a typical sheet of paper, and the superficially leaked thoughts of the Cielothar.

"The Void, The Exist, The Nobles."
"The Arken and The Rich"
"Magic, something I treasure..."
"Abelhard, my friend. My protector?"
"How can I make a decision if my decisions are cut short from protection?"
"Am I protected from my own will, the dangers ahead or both?"
"Is my will a danger to myself and others, and if it is, then should my priority be obedience to those who know better?"
"Magic. Something I treasure, harms the fabric of reality. But Estel, who protected the Yanar, is she not a worthwhile deity?"
"Hexenblood or Nobility. Hexenblood or Nobility."
"Decide, just decide, decide decide decide."
"Which side? A side that cares for me, a side that wants to see myself and others safe. Or a side which offers freedom and liberty, those who care for opportunity and protection of what I treasure."
"Decide, just do it you fool. If you can't decide, do you have a right to? Will the decision be made for me? Was Cal right in the assumption that a choice is only a limited-time offer which ends uncertainly?"
"I have to make a choice. I have to decide. To which side does my heart owe itself."
".. Lest it not be mine."
The Cielothar peers up, having written unaware that his Noble, the Lord Latimer, had arrived.
The man said
"Osira, not sure if you heard, but you're fired."
Internally, panic struck the little elf, so he put on a show, made sure to seem as if it weren't a heavy blow.
Within however he toiled, and later that night he continued to write. It is notably more depressive.
"The decision was taken, just as predicted. I should wonder if my fate is kind or vindictive."
"Either way, my Direction is Decided."
"For the Hexenblood Circle, my attention will be undivided."
OOC:
As stated above, this is the mulling of my character in Krakenburg and the thoughts they keep to themselves. He writes them down, rather than muttering to his fellow cellmates. They are thoughts he has been forced to consider between 'sides' and how the decision is made for him by circumstances outside of his control.
Hope you enjoyed it! I enjoyed putting his thoughts into words and its something I've wanted to write for a while now and the Krakenburg setting helped to do just that!
