Die Jagdhunde - The Hounds
"A harness does not tame a hound."
"A harness does not tame a hound."
History
The Hounds were originally formed by Dietrich Kohler, an Alt-Regalian gunpowder smuggler based in the Regalian sewers, who equipped his men with Hound-like uniforms and masks to conceal their identities. This gang had moderate success over its existence, siding with the Freya Lo regime during the Regalian occupation, and working with groups such as the now defunct Bane of Kronau and La Ganga. After the destruction of the old sewers and the disappearance of Dietrich Kohler, presumed to be caught in the blast, the gang made an eventual resurgence under Alfonso Vasquez, claiming that Die Jagdhunde was also the successor to La Ganga and the Bane of Kronau. While these claims are questioned by many, the gang has nonetheless swelled in numbers over the course of its new leadership, and seeks to establish a new order of power in the sewers.
Goals
Shorterm
To establish the Hounds as a leading gang in the Regalian sewers.
To form a coalition of gangs to ensure mutual security, prosperity, and influence.
To protect the safety of individuals on Jagdhunde territory who abide by their rules, and properly punish those who do not.

Ranks
Die Jagdhund (The Hound)
Role: Head
Die Jagdhund is the De Facto head of the organization. The leader's order is to be honored regardless of personal opinion or belief. Restraint in this is to be punished heavily, if the offender is one of the members of Die Jagdhunde or not is never to factor into this. Die Jagdhund is to be chosen from their predecessor's officers through force of arms or diplomacy.
Jagdhunde (Hounds)
Role: Officer
Jagdhunde are the organization's officers, holding precedence over nearly the entire gang; the only exceptions to this being the Tiere and Die Jagdhund. They're conceded the right to issue orders. The Jagdhunde's orders are to be immediately solemnized, though other members are permitted the right to inquire with Die Jagdhunde if they believe the officer's order to be incompetent.
Tiere (Beasts)
Role: Enforcer
The Tiere constitute Die Jagdhund's enforcers, being of technically equal position to the Jagdhunde despite their dearth of the right to issue an order. They're conceded the right to discipline the entire organization except for Die Jagdhund. The limitation to this is in their being entirely subservient to the legislation of Die Jagdhund. If the Tiere discipline illegitimately, their position is one of the liabilities. The Tiere are subservient only to Die Jagdhund, being the head of the organization's escort and bodyguard. On the Die Jagdhund's death, they default to Hündine.
Kriegshunde (War-Hounds)
Role: Thug
The Kriegshunde constitute the foundation of the organization, being the core force of Die Jagdhunde. They're offered precedence over Kriegshunde , though are offered no special-privileges besides those enjoyed by the entire organization; with the exception of their right to wear the uniform of Die Jagdhunde.
Hündine (Bitches)
Role: Recruit
The Hündine are the recruits of the organization, being of little relevance or position. They hold no special-privileges, besides the ability to rise in position.
