The powerful, ancient faction of Desolation has finally returned to MassiveCraft, and is recuiting new players... Desolation was once a household name on MassiveCraft, though it was one whispered with caution. Long ago, Desolation was a faction like none other, recruiting only the highly elite players, however we have now returned and are willing to recruit both aspiring and talented PvPers. RECRUITMENT IS CURRENTLY OPEN. The Petrified Tree The solidified stone tree, standing strong in the desolate snowy terrain of Jorrhild, was planted atop a large dwarven vault complex, providing excellent protection for those that dwell within. Desolation's Faction Home Once a dwarven vault complex, Desolation's faction home has been repurposed to suit the needs of the members. From here, you can access the potion storage, member vaults, raid portals, and the snowy surface above. Ranks Emperor - The leader of Desolation and the Isolated Empire, the one holding this title has command over everyone below him, and able to dismiss any member of government. All look up to him, and he can overrule the words of those below him. Chancellor - Second in command of the state, whomever holds this rank will serve as leader when the Emperor is unable to. The Chancellor can create and abolish laws, without having to call a vote. However, all laws must be confirmed by the Emperor. Head of Foreign Relations - This person is in charge of who is enemied, allied, and truced. If an outsider wishes to change relations, there must first be a formal discussion with whomever holds this role (or directly with the Emperor). Paladin - Only the most devoted of members will reach this stage. Paladins are the most experienced knights in the faction, and has been renowned for their glory. If you have reached this stage, it shows that you are both an extremely capable fighter, but also a true gentleman. Paladins can direct orders to those below him, and are able to lead and plan large raids. Knight - Members that have reached this rank are truely capable soldiers, and have made themselves somewhat known amongst the community. Knights are players that swordsmen / axemen should look up to and aspire to become. Swordsman/Axeman - An aspiring soldier, the men of this rank are on their way to becoming successful fighters. Recruit - A new member amongst our ranks, recruits still have a lot to learn about combat and raiding. Peasant - Peasants are members that are not specifically interested in combat, yet have been accepted into our faction as friends anyway. NOTE: There are other exclusive ranks too, such as alchemist, that are not written on this list, as they are only recruited when absolutely neccessary. Application Format: Are you aged 13 or over? We ask this as there is a certain level of maturity that one does not have until this age. Of course, if we have had personal experience with you in the past and can be assured that you are mature for your age, there can be exceptions. Do you have Teamspeak? Teamspeak is a vital part of PvP as communication is absolutely neccessary. You must also have a microphone, as simply listening is not enough. Do you understand that, if asked to do something from a Paladin+, you must obey their order? Commands from a Paladin+ are always essential, and are neccessary for the faction's growth, development, and prosperity.
