But the morals of the user can make magic good or bad. Derrick finds himself to be 8/10 devout to the Vultarin Church. Life Story Derrick has no idea about either one of his parents. His birth date or any other familiar ties. He was left as a child. Being found on the fourth of april 308 AC by a mixed-race couple. One Ailor and one half Elf. They named him Derrick. Lacking his real birth date, he recognizes the fourth of april as his. The first couple of years were dull. Derrick kept to himself. Not liking to play with other kids. This made him somewhat of an outcast among his peers. The most notable and trait defining event occurring in Derrick his youth would be is tendency to steal. At first trivial things like pebbles from his peers. This escalated to the stealing of candy. As Derrick got acces to schooling his life showed plenty of promise. Derrick coming from a low-earning family in the 'Crookback' region preformed surprising well. Scoring especially high in pattern recognition and memory tests thought showing ample difficulty when it came to linguistics. Derrick found himself being 'sponsored' in his tutelage. Enrolling in extra courses where he started to grasp more Arcane ideas. In his early tens Derrick found himself at odds with his father. His parents had up to that point raised him to be 'free thinking' but started to force a more Unionist lifestyle onto Derrick. Derrick dropped his Arcane studies as a part of his now Unionist lifestyle. In his mid tens Derrick had adjusted to a more Unionist lifestyle. Making a limited number of friends. Returning late one night Derrick walked in on his parents arguing. Derrick his father hadn't get payed for his daily work, working at an iron-casting-company. This translated into them not having enough food. Derrick first took to his scholarly pursuits, being unable to find a way to make his father's boss pay them. Derrick took to a more illegal approach. Some time later Derrick broke into the business and took with him, everything he could. Selling these items to a fence, he left the money on his own doorstep. An anonymous donation. In his late tens Derrick continued to steal whenever his parents complained about hardship. A harsh winter, a hot summer. Derrick would provide the money. This attracted the attention of a local 'burglar' ring. Derrick found himself beaten into submission and joined their ranks. Derrick learned the ins- and outs of burglary. How to turn illegal profit into legally recognized money. Working his way up in the 'burglar' ring. He'd become their accountant. Some years later, in his early twenties Derrick got arrested. He got caught trying to sell iron bars, stamped with an 'Imperial forge' signature to an incognito guard. Derrick spent two years in prison. During these years Derrick was introduced to Vultarin Unionism. A more thoughtful religion, and a life changing affaire for sure. At twenty-five years old Derrick got out of prison. His personal stash looted. No money to his name. No friends in his circle. He started to attend mass again. Having acces to the city library once more. He would read up on Vultarin Unionism and their tenants. In the present day Derrick has returned to stealing. No longer for personal gain but to offer alm to those around him. He is looking to make new acquaintances. New partners, new friends. Having found peace within the Vultarin church he is now looking at the Arcane with a newfound fervor. Wanting to expand his knowledge, and skillset.
