"In the the light of the Exist, we walk the fine line of its shadow." The Deepland Witches is a group, or coven, of individuals with Exist based afflictions who work together to bring the Exist into Aloria. This group accepts all Exist based afflictions, but are based on the culture of a Cahal clan. It is of the belief that magic, and the Exist that is called upon, is eldritch in nature. That from the great light comes a darkness, and those of the Deepland tread that line carefully. We are looking to teach sorcery/magic in a witchcraft environment, with special rituals and events to focus on this darker side of the Exist that is often ignored. This witchcraft, as it is, focuses on bringing the Exist into reality through sorcery, mutations, corruption, and creation. Sorcery is rather self explanatory, with many of the current members being sorcerers themselves and willing to teach. In lieu of sorcery, there is always combat. Those who do not have a talent for magic are encouraged to find where they best excel. Mutations is encouraged, to infuse the essence of the Exist within ourselves or others. Corruption is encouraged, to infuse the essence of the Exist within Aloria itself. Creation is encouraged, as the act of creation in the name of the Exist is seen as brining in the light to Aloria with permanent creations. Art, metallurgy, thread craft -- any means to create is encouraged. Not all who join are required to be Cahal or adhere to the faith of the Colossi specifically, but it is always an option. As previously mentioned, we are a group that sees the Exist through an eldritch lens. Magic is highly encouraged, and so is Cahalism; yet neither are required to join this group. Just an interest in the Exist, and willingness to learn more in a not so traditional sense. We want to encourage that cultish, bloodborne feel from the rp we generate; as well as incite Exist conflict with other groups.
