After a good long life, Pristina is finally pretty much dead. I consider this the death of the Pristina empire, and I hope to make the best of this by looking for another empire or just creating one myself. My idea for an empire is one that has very little building restrictions, meaning that as long as it looks good in some way, its allowed. Also the empire will have a council system where the leader would send mail to each representative and wait for the representatives to respond by saying yes, no, or abstain. Thats the basic idea I have, but the main point of this thread is that Pristina is dead of near death.
 
Good bye Pristina. Your days of scamming noobs for 30s to join will be missed. (At least, this is what they did when I joined the server)
 
Well I have never been in the faction itself, only the empire, so I have no idea what happened in Pristina, although I hated how they treated new members.
 
Eh, out with the old and in with the new they say ;). I think this server needs some new factions on top though. Like a new empire. Its like all of the other faction branch off from empires, and the ones that dont are too small to be "glorious".
 
My goal was exactly as Tubbytundra has said. To eliminate all factions that try to work themselves up under another factions name. MonMarty further assisted this plan by forbidding anyone from using any well known old faction names, lest ye be disbanded. Finally, with this new regulation in place, the server can finally move on to bigger, greater factions and empires.
 
With the new claim rule, all the old big factions will have do unclaim.

This includes pristina, unless someone argues to keep it. I'd guess it's doubtful though.
 
Pristina died many many months ago. The Existing Pristinas after that is just Name stealers. I was online the last minutes of Pristina to see it die>:)
Pristina will to me at least only be that Pristina, the orginal one from Aloria ruled by a crazy person and died in Ceardia a long time ago :P

Let me clarify on the Pristina thing. The current Pristina is lead by the leader of a former leader of a former subfaction of the original Pristina. I was part of that original subfaction (VSTC) and it was nice. Pidog10 revived Pristina because he enjoyed being part of that once-mighty empire. The faction did very well for a time, but then it caved in when Pidog went inactive (he got cancer), and it's other leader (Bubbleman134) joined my faction (Osai). The name itself does, technically, belong to Pidog10 as the last remaining leadership position from the original Pristina Empire.

Pidog's Pristina was mainly a peaceful city-building faction, and didn't have an entry fee I think. So quit it with the hate...
 
Im pretty sure the hate above it toward the Original Pristina :P
 
Pristina died when Nick was thrown off the server. The "leaders" afterwards did nothing but carry on the name. I've been to "Pristinas" land in daendroc and its nothing but half finished buildings, floating platforms, and a few nice buildings but over all there were to many members and not enough leadership to keep it going. Someone will attempt to bring it back again but hopefully that will be stopped
 
Fav, if you do happen to make a new empire, I would very much like to be in your empire, as I think you will make a great emperor.

This Pristina is nothing but a shell of its namesake, attempting to grasp the same glory and wealth it once had under the infamous NickBarry and the leaders that followed. I believe it is safe to say that the real Pristina died with the fall of NickBarry.

Ha, beerando is back, so that is ironic. But i can make a fine dictator, and im sure monmarty can too. Overall, it is dead, pretty much, and will be replaced.
