Archived Custom Splash Contest

Within every texture pack, there is possibility to create a custom splash. I always thought massivecraft's texture pack need some custom splashes so I thought maybe we could have like a submission thing where people send in their custom splashes like "sevak is a nerd" and we could put some of them in the texture pack.

It shouldn't take any more than making a skin would.

Actually it is relatively easy, I've done work here and there in texturing might start modding soon tho

You can do this easily, there is a simple .txt file in the resourcepack files that can be edited, with each splash on its own line. There is a ton of room for Massive-Specific memes and in-jokes there that would be kind of awesome.

The yellow text that appears on the Minecraft logo in the Title Screen. Its fully customizable, very easily.

Why not teach us how to do it and we all get different ones for ourselves?

With 1.12 in, I expect a new edition of the texture pack will be made to fit it. This is the perfect time to make such a contest.

Making custom splash text is relatively simple to do. I went ahead and came up with about 50 massive-related splash texts and submitted them to Direction for review. It is unknown at this time if these will be added to the resource pack, but it was fun to come up with nonetheless.
