As of 1.8 being able to Nerf the villager trade system becomes entirely impossible and brings the impending question, as to weather our NPC friends can appeal to the divine powers of massivecraft to have their trading rights once again granted.
Because zombie villagers are fairly easy to find and un-dead truce allows them to be safely caught i think it is time that the staff of massivecraft re-consider the possibility of Villagers once again being useful.
As of today the one and only Non role play oriented use of NPC villagers on massivecraft is the use of villager as bait to lure zombies to be killed.
I was hoping that with the event of Mincraft 1.8 that villagers could once again gain use on our growing server,perhaps with a plugin that would complety balance trade for the benefit of the whole server
