What is the most insane roleplay event that has ever happened to you?
I'll start off...

My character, Barris Grizgate, was travelling with a few friends to the Hidden Dragon. We originally thought it was an abandoned noble house, so Barris and his friends made it their base of operations for things such as hanging out, or discussing more serious matters. As they were on their way, they saw a small group of people hanging out around this "abandoned noble-house." Curious, Barris and his friends swam across to investigate, asking them what their business was that day. From what I remember, they claimed they were having a meeting, and one of my friends said that Barris's group was here for the book club (which was a fake), and our two groups went inside. A few moments later...

A rather tall lady, who I assumed was their leader, asked for Barris to come forward. Barris, nervous from being called out, stepped forward. The leader then proceeded to knee Barris in the groin! Seconds later, the room was in chaos: One of the leader's companions turned into a giant cat and sat on my friend, trapping him, while another companion pulled a knife on Barris's other friend and stabbed him in the back. Barris pulled a knife on the leader, while his third companion (the only one left standing besides Barris) attempted to attack the cat.
Barris demanded that the leader (who turned out to be a vampire) let his friends go, but his demands were ignored. Barris lunged at the leader, who simply toyed with him, grabbing him by the neck and proceeding to sink her fangs into Barris's neck.

As Barris began to faint, one of the leader's companions stomped on his head, giving him head trauma, which caused the memory of this whole event to begin to fade, although not completely. The strangest part was that Barris and his comrades had met the leader and her feline companion earlier that same day when a vampire was being arrested.

Who knew that traveling to the Hidden Dragon could cause your character to be bitten, along with his friends being stabbed, knocked out, and sat on?


What is the craziest thing that's happened to YOUR character in Roleplay?
 
The Abusement Park was once attacked by armed and masked terrorists. Mr Clown and I fled to the balloon and drew up the ladder. While I proceeded to taunt the attackers to keep them close to the balloon Mr. Clown readied the TNT charges. While they were all right under the balloon he dropped several primed TNT charges right into the middle of them. BOOOOOM, bodies went flying everywhere and I think we killed about four people with the first blast.

Needless to say no one ever tried to rob us again.

I absolutely LOVE the name "Abusement Park."
 
Hmm well I once had a vampire child silently follow me around, and I have to say, whoever was roleplaying that character did a good job at making it seem creepy.

Also, I was walking through the poor district when I came to a corner where 3 masked men were hiding in the shadows. My character was an old man and had no chance whatsoever at fighting 3 men, so I turned the corner and then the men started chasing me. After catching me, they pinned me against the wall, put a dagger to my throat, and told me if didn't buy their opium I would have my throat slit. I'm not sure why they didn't just take my money, but hey, at least I got some opium out of it.
 
my Yanar, Yave was having a wonderful chat with Torriku, when a bunch of men in cloaks appeared, attacking him leaving Yave there Confused and frightened, as Torriku did his creepy magic to escape.

Same thing happened to me.
 
Probably about everything Windvale has experienced in the sewers, was.. pretty crazy.
  • Kindred disputes, this happened. Followed by countless more minor skirmishes from time to time.
  • Defending the base against a Kindred attack while Chalden and Selwynn were fighting in the back.
  • Taking apart the base of a group called "The Order" after a few disputes, kidnapping and interrogating its members before taking their treasures, throwing its members into the sewage and having them become a subfaction under a new leader. And let's not forget when they broke themselves free and tried to fight their way out of the Windvale base.
  • A certain evergrowth mage summoning a weird, very big tentacle bush monster on us.
  • Crelin swarming the base and urinating all over the entrance. It was a pain capturing them and throwing them out.
  • A deal with Kindred in the huge unused cistern, where we agreed to set territory borders and make an uneasy truce with a couple of terms. And yes, it was indeed a trap set up, which we sadly did not put to use because it ended up more peaceful than expected, despite our provoking attempts.
That's about all the highlights I can think of right now, and personally experienced. There's a lot more very crazy minor stuff I could bring up, but the list would be endless. In conclusion, the entire time leading Windvale down there was an amazing experience.

to elaborate, I once made him fall over the waterfall, and hit his head repeatedly, and since then he has had absolutely no sanity, and is addicted to stuffing alcohol soaked rags into his moth and sucking on them to no end, or at least until he can get a fresh one. He can no longer speak common at all really either, and mostly grunts and says "Alead rag! need! need!". every time I play him is strange, and always has been. I expect to someday either make him suffer another severe head injury and return to normal, or drop dead in the tavern of old age.
 
My character was forcibly mugged for their shoes. And then, walked around for two days with no shoes.
 
A wulong and I sat on a wall with a Qadir and threw bricks at people before I eventually got flung by the Wulong at the person and they had a light barrier magic thingy m'bober so he'd slide down it then this Ailor wanted to be like the Wulong and I because we stole a person's trousers then their clothing.
 
Abducted by a man that thought himself to be a dog along with a shady vampire. Instead of some weird feast however, the man kept calling my character 'wife', feeding her melons while the vampire drew pictures of her with a chalk onto the attic wall.

My char f'sar was talking to someone in the sewers. Three men then ran in yelling buns burgers. Then they were saying something like " praise the Burger King". Than some guy teleported in with a burger for a head. They then tried to make us bow. We ran and they chased us for a minute. The Burger King then dissapeered and we left I was so confused. This is how I remember it. It might have turned out different .
 
My character once murdered a man in cold blood and in the middle of the tavern. The weird thing is that I only got imprisoned for forty days.

you know, the masked men probably stole the opium, and wanted to get rid of it. and make some money in the deal.
 
Today actually, a very pale man ran up to the character I'm developing, Raia, and ran between him and Lodornal @NotBrendan , the Yanar he was having conversation with, and pointed at his clothing, demanding that they were given to him. The man had no weapon, so Raia, responding fairly rationally, rudely told him to go away.
 
Well, I have an update on the weirdest thing that has happened to me. My ranger char was just strolling along in Regalia when two men in chain male and creeper heads run up and draw weapons and demand his money for one's "sick daughter". When my char offered to give medical help, they got impatient and threw a rock at his head, which ended up breaking his leg instead. They then stripped him nude and ran off, both of them only to return moments later out of disguise, and one helped my char to the clinic. When my char accused them of being the thieves, they started a fight, and slit my char's friend's throat, nearly killing him, and eventually they ran off. My char's friend lived though, it helps we were in the doorway of the clinic.

that was an interesting experience for everyone.
 
Torikku was just having a talk with his friend Fell when a Wulong came and knocked him out. He was then tied up and hung on vines by his legs. His pants then being stolen, the Wulong leaving, leaving Torikku pantsless. He then continued on his way, going a few days without pants.

One of my old chars Eliasia, was watching Thomas Kade threaten a women. I cheered the threats on and Thomas said we were going to "off her" would you like to come? I gladly went, and we climbed to the top of one of the cathedral towers. After a bit of yelling, and the women calling Thomas a coward, they pushed her off the top of the cathedral.
