Equal to the real world's Doberman Pinscher, Cormac's Spirit Animal represents his energetic, yet fearless and loyal attitude, as well as his athletic demeanor. The physical manifestation of this hound is incredibly powerful, standing at 27 inches tall, and 97 pounds of strength. His coat in this form roughly matches the hair, though is mainly black, but instead of brown markings, they are a dull ginger.
    • Shortsword - Cormac is trained in the art of swordfighting, not being all too impressive, though could hold his own perhaps with a bit of luck.

Personality and Abilities (Required)
Personality Traits

  • Ebullient: Cormac is a naturally positive and buoyant person, constantly exhuming an air of joy and eagerness to others. He's a riot in conversation and meeting, not giving any attempt to hide his jolly demeanor. Depression is not a common thing for the Claith, often finding himself inspiring others to mimic his elated sense of being. In daily life, he's quick to initiate interactions, rather enthusiastic about doing so, which is a plus for his sister. Conwenna is typically able to reap the benefits of her jaunty little brother, whose zany persona has constantly won over peers.
  • Lionhearted: This Claith has a history of adventure and valiant mannerisms. Incredibly brace, Cormac isn't one to avoid what others would consider a fearful situation. He's a very much gallant man, seeking to be heroic to be honest, yet most of this trait manifests itself in his utter fearlessness. While this is in all realism, every man has his fears, though even when in the face of those, Cormac forces himself to stand his ground in a determined manner, not letting fear get the better of him. It is common to see the Claith take on any challenge thrusted at him, even if it puts himself in danger.
  • Forthright: The cornerstone of Cormac's personality is very much his eager and merry attitude, yet, it very much can act as a backbone to this. Being frank and direct to others is preferred experience for this man, as sincere as he is ginger. Lying and deceit are cowards' tools in his eyes, and prefers to be very straightforward with his fellow man, giving them his opinions, facts, ideas, and many others at face-value. He plays with his other traits, using his eagerness to barrel himself forward, following it up with a plain-spoken conversation, which has been a much appreciated core of his persona throughout his life.
  • Protective: While many consider a shielding and preventive attitude to be something to be revered, Cormac's is rather negative indeed. Despite being the younger brother, the man can't help but have a pull to safeguarding his friends and family, though this trait is not felt in as strong of resonance, as with his sister. He's loyal to a fault, yet often restricts her life, or blocks out others in attempts to make sure his sister's safety and wellbeing is paramount. Cormac has often completely ruined deals, friendships, or situations due to the fact of feeling put-off by someone's attitude to his sister. This has caused him to be aggressive and violent, often lashing out at others when this protection is threatened.
  • Cocky: Though Cormac is a fair and warm-hearted individual, he has as rather annoyingly boastful side to him. Perhaps a shoot-off from knowing a very rare magic, or just simply how he is, the Claith is prone to acting in an arrogant way to others; often showing off his skills, even when not requested. While in no way sneering and condescending person, it is much more clear that Cormac just seeks to show off, incredibly overconfident about his own skills.
  • Mannerless: Being raised on Eriu-Innis wasn't the best start to being pretentious, though this is only heightened by his wild and energetic personality. Cormac is a bit out of control at times, becoming rather wild and uncaring to the normal acting of a "nobleman". His manners are rather sub-par, if not non-existent, and tends to act in a disrespectful and unruly manner, whenever he feels like it; often earning the ire of the more classy folks of the Crown City.
Strengths
  • Physically Athletic: Years and years of rigorous exercise and outdoors activity have left the Salann with a rather toned and athletic build. While naturally not too big, Cormac makes up for it with a sort of "runner's build", keeping a fit and trimmed body with strong legs and toned muscles. All of this is extremely helpful in daily situations, as well as more specific areas of life. Combat, physical sport, and showing off are made rather easy for the Claith, as he possesses the skills needed to do so.
  • Supportive: A big plus to Cormac's persona is his ability to encourage and care for others. While not all-too emotional himself, he is concerned for others, especially his family, and seeks as much as he can to be helpful and understanding. Kind and reassuring, Cormac is able to prop up others in their time of need, and give them the shoulder to cry on when the time is appropriate.
  • Resourceful: Thinking on your feet is always a help in any situation, especially when things get sticky, which is a natural skill of the Claith's. He finds it easy to be inventive, and use his surroundings to his aid or rescue when need be. This manifests itself into many things, from being simply a creative person, being able to be enterprising and create new ideas, to using his environment to overcome a difficulty in a clever and innovative way.
Weaknesses
  • Terrible Footwork: Running and hiking require little thought to being tactful with your feet, but for other things, this Claith runs into trouble. Sword Fighting, dancing, and sports can be problematic, as Cormac possesses quite awful perception of placing his feet correctly, not able to perform incredible feats of sword-display or be dazzling in intricate sports. This has made him have difficulty learning to use a sword and such, often tripping himself up during the practice routines and rudimentary sparring.
  • Animalistic: Being wild is definitely a problem in Cormac's life, as being mannered and proper was never really a requirement in his youth. He typically has trouble with what people consider "normal skills", such as using cutlery, being literate, dressing properly, combing his hair, etc. The Salann doesn't understand the issue with using his hands to eat meat, or taking a nap in the grass, which has constantly earned him the ire of the peerage, or snickering laughs from high lords who find his animalistic actions to be pathetic and funny, putting a hampering on his relationships.
  • Ignorant: Growing up on a secluded island has its downsides, one of them being an uneducated view of the world. Illiterate and unlearned, Cormac can come off as stupid or lacking awareness. It doesn't help his honing on his more primal skills, as his ignorant mannerisms and views make him appear a bit stupid among the educated nobles. He doesn't know titles, the names of the continents, or how to write common, and many other things he should know, and is a problematic in his position.
Personality and Abilities (Expansion)
  • Describe any number of Character Quirks your character has, strange behavior that they exhibit in certain situations. For example, a character rubbing a beard when nervous is a quirk, or a character biting their lips when doing math is a quirk, or a character shuffling their feet when talking to someone is a quirk. Quirks are not mandatory and may be left out if the writer doesn't want to include them or can't think of any.
  • Describe your character's skills; abilities they've developed, but not necessarily put at the forefront of their lives. For example, if your character is a good cook, but not a chef, or if they are a good horse rider but not necessarily a competition racer, you would mention them here. Feel free to mention multiple skills but try to keep your character from becoming over skilled.
  • Describe your character's talents, their inherent abilities that truly set them apart from the common population of Aloria. These talents are the kind of abilities other people would want to go to your character for to teach them. These are things they haven't specifically developed, but have a natural affinity for.

  • Describe three different activities, things or items that your character loves to see, do, taste or smell. Generally speaking these are things that make your character happy and in a good mood when they are near them/doing them. Go into detail why they love these things and then also explain how it makes them feel.
Dislikes
  • Describe three different activities, things or items that your character hates to see, do, taste or smell. Generally speaking these are things that make your character annoyed or angry and in a general bad mood when they are near them/doing them. Go into detail why they hate these things and explain also how it makes them feel.

Life Story (Required)
Early Childhood

  • Born on Eriu-Innis, Cormac came about six years after his Matriarch, and sister, Conwenna.
  • Spent early years of life toddling about with other children in the village, nothing all too flowery or expensive was afforded for him, though quaintness and cohesion were prevalent.
Childhood
  • Showed a clear affinity for physical activity. Often being the most active among the other children.
  • Was exposed to Spirit Magic early on, his mother and sister being the clearest manifestation of the exposure.
  • Began early training himself at around eight, though this was very much simple reading of some histories of it, and merely observing his family take part in the magic so he is familiar with it, and not frightened.
Teenage
  • Officially began training at the age of 12, having an eagerness and quick affinity for the shape-shifting magic.
  • Didn't allow the training to keep him from physical activity, often taking long runs and hikes up the rugged hillsides of Eriu-Innis.
  • After a few months of loose training, as he often skipped out on lessons or didn't pay attention, Cormac successfully shifted forms. It was different than expected, at least from his sister and mother, and found his form as a large, black and ginger-coloured canine, tall in size but incredibly muscled. After heavy investigating, his mother found out this was called a Calemberg Ardhund, and was famed for loyalty and athleticism.
Adult
  • At the age of 22, Cormac moved with his family closer to the more relevant areas off Eriu-Innis, though blew off his sister and mother's trading business for his own leisure. Often switching forms to go on long hikes and such.
  • Picked up swordfighting after his sister secured a barony, the small amounts of leisure money they now had, he used for hiring an instructor. Though his careless attitude prevented a mastery of the art, however still learning.
  • Cormac began to pay more attention to his sister's politics after their mother died and the barony was created, seeking to help her when her could. He found his skill in his personality, persuading folks with his energetic spirit to buy their goods, or make deals to benefit the family.
  • Became very attached to his Spirit Form and physical activities, daily going on excessively long runs as his Ardhund and human form to stay in shape.
Recent
  • Came to Regalia with his sister at 29, helping her as well as he could with everything. Found new entertainment in the landmasses woodlands, disappearing for days on end for personal excursions.
  • At age 32, finally was able to reach "Mage Level" for his magic, now able to stay in his form for several days with ease.

I will be reviewing this sheet!

Wonderful work so far, your eye for detail is remarkable -- not surprising! I found no major issues or anything strikingly important to bring up. That being said, I am happy to consider this sheet good to go:

Approved!
