Congregational Council response to the appointment of Aelfric Harhold to High Reverend:
    • The Council of Droite speaks very positively of the Harhold appointment, and fully supports the Synod.
    • The Medway & Seaman's missions are positive to the Harhold appointment, but have not made further statements.
    • The Regency council has spoken negatively about the Harhold appointment, but has made no overt publication of dissent aside from their disgruntled attitude.
    • The Synod of the South has accepted the Harhold appointment, and seems placid for now.
    • The Supremoclast of Vultaro has seemingly responded positively to the Harhold appointment.
    • The Confessional Union of the Holy Knight has responded very positively to the Harhold appointment, but stresses that they expect to see no hands of House Harhold in Synod politics.
    • The Westerland Conclave has responded negatively to the Harhold appointment, citing concerns about Harhold fueled religious backed expansion into Dragenthal, or encroachment of the clerical lands held in Dragenthal, though did not go as far as to reject the Synod.
    • The River Sankt has spoken positively about Harhold's appointment, most likely to mirror the Westland Conclave's negative statement.
    • The Easterland Conclave has made no publicaiton on the Harhold appointment, so have presumably accepted it.
    • The Confessional Union of the Holy Father have positively responded to the Harhold appointment, but stresses that the High Reverend will be expected to publicly denounce his kin if they continue to misbehave in public, sending an echo back to Aethelred Howlester speaking ill of his kinsman in public when they too took religious vows very loosely.
    • The Pressburragh Sankt made a somewhat dubious response to the Harhold appointment. It seems that the Pressburragh Sankt would have preferred Aethelred Howlester, but seems to accept the choice as "preferably less worse than all other candidates".
    • Finally, the Council of the Veer strongly rejects the Harhold appointment to the High Reverend, citing it as a careless act by the Synod and a carte blanche to reject the pious and compassionate souls of the Veer who have had to endure much war language and murderous intent from House Harhold. The Council of the Veer has taken the stance to reject Synod authority and has as such broken with the mother church.
    Other events worth noting:
    • Christopher Black's war fleet is fully supplied once more with Lampero coal and ready to sail. The Armada is capable of extending Regalia's influence across the high seas again.
    • A conference hosted by von Treppewitz on the military advances of the Empire have led to the creation of several interesting schematics and designs for hand-held cannons that are much smaller and lighter than actual cannons. For now, testing prototypes are extremely expensive to make, but it seems that some of the smithies have succeeded in simplying the complex lockwork mechanism that powers the Imperial Hunting Rifle, by combining it with technology from the Qadir Addir weapons.
    • There are signs of the mist in Anglia retreating, or at the very least loosening a bit. The exact cause or how safe it truly is, is not known. The peasants living in the area around Anglia are too afraid to try the border and continue to steer away from it.
    • Word has finally come from Medway, the island off the coast of Anglian Morris, that the Orc settlers there are still alive and doing well. For months, nobody bothered to check up with the Orc tribes living on the abandoned isle of Medway, as Kade ships would normally do this but remain out of service. The Orcs have apparently badly over hunted the island however.
    • House Ivrae has closed their borders in Vixhall, notably because of the rising food supply shortages, and dismissed most of the serving personel and winter lodging caretakers. This is seemingly a move made to limit the amount of inhabitants for the sake of food preservation. House de Loiree-Bas followed suit, but presumably just out of imitation.
    • In light of the increased tension between the Regalian State and the Drixagh Nordskag alliance, Archduke Ulric Typhonus fanned the flames of conflict by mobilizing the troops of House Grazerwald, Typhonus and von Castor-Beilewitz in a coalition to guard the north border. House Typhonus, backed by House von Treppewitz, communicates with the Regalian State that their men stand poised to purge the heretics from Drixagh and push them back into the sea. Needlessly to say, the Drixagh natives grow more restless because of this development.

Enzo Celso puffed more smoke into the air as he asked Moritz a simple question, like always,

"Always going according to plan, eh?"

The smirk on his face with the sigg looked rather childish, but he never much cared anyway, did he?

Nouveau tilted her head at the mention of Smithing and lockwork. Her brows knitted together, and she shifted into motion towards the local library, grumbling as she did.
Another thing to learn about regarding metallurgy. This’ll take a lot of studying. Hmph.
