Ahh, hello friends! The activity's only grown since I wrote last, and we can yet again report to you that we are very happy to see the knights out and about. Before we get on to the stuff you do want to read I'd like to extend our gratitude to @LumosJared and @Arendan for having joined the crew as writers and putting out two great progressions for you.
New missions will drop sometime in the near foreseeable future, providing more opportunity for the combat groups to prove their mettle to the wider world.
News from the Empire
The city of Merkar'sarh in the occupied Altalar lands has witnessed a remarkable drop in murders since the garrison brought Regalian punishment to the perpetrators. However, further investigations into the garrison's reports showed substantial errors that granted credibility to rumours that a band of Sihndar were the true bringers of justice. Subsequent court martials dishonorably discharged the men deemed responsible for their lies and suppression of information from the Marshal Cabinet. Following these events the Sihndar of the Eso-Ajo have been given their due credit, to a degree appropriate for their race.
Meanwhile in the Regalian archipelago toymakers and parents across the realms claim that children are far more interested in 'The Crossbow Knights' than the traditional Viridian tales and merchandise that has been a staple of Regalian boyhood since the middle of the second century. Experts on the matters of psyche believe that the Pavisa Order's presence and alleged 'men of the people' reputation has broken a ten year old record for the Order. Youths themselves say that they think it would be a lot easier to become a Pavisa Knight, and a lot more fun.
People of the Vultarrin Hegemony awakened to a horrifying earthquake last month. The ground trembled for what seemed like hours, causing great terror in the hearts of many. Of all the people who were terrified none had a better excuse than a group of miners who had barely gotten back to work when their silvermine collapsed. The noble knights of the Empire were quick to act as news reached them, and the Viridians were first at the scene to rescue the poor souls trapped within the mountain. It is said that the Archduke of Basta himself went first without a flicker of hesitation, bravely sinking into the deep dark caverns before any of his companions. In the end the knights of the Viridian Order succeeded, rescuing all of the miners with only a few injuries sustained throughout the attempt. Emperor Theomar the Holy surely smiled upon his knights on that glorious day.
The heroic rescue of Miss Erika von Redwood from the clutches of outlaws is a widely celebrated event in the local region. "The Schön River's Sweetheart" as she is known to have been called managed to convince her wealthy father to dedicate the annual summer festivities to the Bloodcast knights who braved the wilderness to bring her out of captivity. The festival was one of the largest and most expensive events in recent Dragenthal history, and brought in an economic boom to the rivertrade as merchants from all over the Heartlands came to peddle their goods. While the 'Dustborn' gang has been chased out of Dragenthal there have been sightings of their activity in the bordering Anglia, though nothing of note or credibility can be reported as of yet.
