History
Voldrit Ironfist was the first patriarch of Clan Ironfist around 685 BC, being one of the oldest clans within the lands. Voldrit has been said to be a dwarf of true wisdom and vast knowledge of the arcane arts while being able to protect other clans that came through the ages. Some have said that Voldrit was knowledge of the general location of where Duindin's last known whereabouts, but that knowledge had since been lost through the ages. Voldrit's wife's last years were spent upon the Tome of the Arcane, passing its knowledge of the arcane down through the Ironfist lines. Many great Ironfists rose and fell as time went one, mostly seeming to have lived very long lives to their 100's-120's. The clan has believed it to be a blessing from Duindin for their protection of the different Clans, mostly to Clan Blackjaw.
In 40 AC, Patriarch Murgrid Ironfist created 2 powerful heirlooms for Clan Ironfist. He was known as the first true craftsman of the Clan, passing his knowledge of metallurgy down through his family's lines. Over time, the family's library increased to the point where it had become too full for the knowledge. The library expanded in size, holding more and more knowledge of Metallurgy and some other knowledges.
The vast memory of Patriarchs and Family increased as the time went off, continuing forward until around 89 AC, where one of the best known Ironfists was born. Osdrik Ironfist became one of the first dwarven members to join the School of Battlemed. His physical prowess was quite needed when the school was first created, as to be sure to protect the weak by acting as the strong.
Forcus Ironfist slowly became the Patriarch of the Clan, having to retire from being the Patriarch due to his old age. At the age of 60, Ulfgar Ironfist passed away due to heart problems with the amount of stress. Glaror Ironfist, the son of Ulfgar, was not ready to become the patriarch, so Forcus has returned as the Patriarch of the Clan once more.
Family Members
Voldrit Ironfist, "The Wizard of Iron" - Was the very first Patriarch of Clan Ironfist, serving as one of Clan Blackjaw's first Housecarls and Guardsmen. He was a powerful and knowledgeable of the Arcane Arts, using it wisely to protect his clan and his friends while serving the greater good.
Murgrid Ironfist, "The Master of Metallurgy" - Came as a very important Patriarch, being one of the first to start smithing like a true dwarf. He had spent much time recording the works of metallurgy and how Metalitra was created, used, and shaped into what they were. The knowledge of Murgrid still lives in the family library.
Osdrik Ironfist, "The Grand Healer" - Became one of the very first members to join the School of Battlemed. He was accepted as a powerful healer and warrior in the defense of the ill and poor. He became the embodiment of the family motto, doing what he could to help be strong to defend the weak.
Forcus Ironfist, "The Iron Fist of Ellador" - Was the previous patriarch of Clan Ironfist before Ulfgar, being also the previous wielder of the Iron Gauntlet and Hammerfist. He followed the line of great Command Graduates of the School of Command, as to hold their family values strongly as to protect the weak with both his mind and physical strength. He became one of the main inspirations of Clan Ironfist, since he had more leadership skills then most people would hold. - @MrFluff1
Ulfgar Ironfist, "The Arcane Stonesman" - The current patriarch of Clan Ironfist, keeping everyone within the family safe as they travels the lands of the world. He was inspired to be a leader like his father, since he was the oldest and had a connect to Magician Magic like their mother. He spent much time studying Magician Magic, Heavy Weapons, and the art of Medical Science. However, he passed away due to his health. Ulfgar will always be remembered as a fierce leader and great Dwarf to all of those within the Clan.
Jakam Ironfist, "The Bear" - Dearest younger brother to the ex-patriarch, Ulfgar. Jakam spends most of his days reading, and learning new things though his study. He is also a very renown hunter. His name, "The Bear" from a great hunt with a infamous grizzly bear, which not only costed his eye, but half of his face too.
Family Heirlooms
The Iron Gauntlet - A Gauntlet made of a mix of Metalitra and Steel to keep it strong but a bit light at the same time. The Gauntlet was created by Murgrid Ironfist to act as a symbol of order and protection for those of Clan Ironfist and others that know of the Clan. This holy symbol has served them for many years, being the most powerful heirloom for Clan Ironfist.
Iron Breaker - A Metalitra/Steel Great Axe that was formed with the design of a fist engraved upon the sides of the head. Murgrid knew that someone would hold this weapon as a means of offense, give or take that it is a Great Axe meant to chop someone down a size. The weapon was said to hold some magical properties, though the claims have so far been said to be false since it has shown no effects of any magical properties.
Tome of The Arcane - From the first mother, the wife of Voldrit Ironfist, this Tome was passed down generations, from generations as a mean to keep the Arcane arts alive within the culture, and clan. It keeps many secrets untold, though some have been shared down the line. Nobody really knows how it came into existence, or who made it, but all we know is how to cherish it, and keep it.
